fLounge access is one of the best ways to make your travels less stressful and chaotic. While layovers are an inevitable part of air travel, you don't have to dread them. Airport lounges offer guests a place to stretch out, relax, grab a bite to eat, recharge their devices, and enjoy some peace and quiet.
A Priority Pass membership is one of the more common travel-focused benefits offered by premium credit cards to cardholders. With over 1,700 lounges worldwide, Priority Pass has made accessing lounges much easier for members. But did you know that Priority Pass goes beyond airport lounges?
From free restaurant meals to complimentary spa treatments, here are some of the ways you can utilize your Priority Pass membership outside of a lounge or club.

What Is Priority Pass?
Priority Pass is by far the largest collection of airport lounges and clubs available to travelers. While most well-known for offering access to airport lounges, there's a lot more to Priority Pass membership than meets the eye, including restaurant credits and complimentary spa access.
Many premium credit cards include Priority Pass membership as a card perk that is included with the annual fee, which can be less than the card's annual fee in some cases.
Credit cards with a complimentary Priority Pass membership

Keep in mind that not all Priority Pass memberships that come with a credit card will come with access to restaurants.

How Priority Pass Restaurants Work
One of the best features of a Priority Pass membership is the $28 per person food and beverage credit at select airport restaurants. This amount will vary depending on the restaurant and may be more or less than $28.
Restaurant locations are within the airports but outside of any lounge. Some Priority Pass memberships include only so many lounge visits per year, and restaurant visits will count toward your allocated lounge visit amount.
Which airports have Priority Pass Restaurants?
There are Priority Pass lounges and restaurants in over 140 countries around the world. We've done our best to include most of these restaurants below. However, this list changes constantly, with restaurants being added and removed with little notice.
At some restaurants, there is a set menu for Priority Pass members to order from. This menu often doesn't include soft drinks or alcoholic beverages so those would have to be paid for out of pocket.

How does the Priority Pass dining credit work?
Restaurants that participate in the Priority Pass program offer guests a fixed allowance that goes towards their total bill. Unless the restaurant has a set menu for Priority Pass members, simply pick what you want to eat or drink and dine as you normally would. Be sure to mention that you plan on using your Priority Pass membership for your meal when ordering or before being seated.
When it comes time to settle up, the restaurant will run your Priority Pass membership. In the United States, restaurants typically offer a credit of $28 per person towards the final bill. Keep in mind that these amounts don't include tips.
If you spend $28 or less per person, you'll essentially dine free of charge. However, if you go over this amount, you'll need to present a credit card or pay with cash to cover the difference.
Another important thing to keep in mind is your membership's guest policy. Depending on the credit card issuer or Priority Pass membership type, you may not receive guest access or be able to use guest passes at restaurants. Additionally, some restaurants only allow one guest to receive the dining credit.
Consider downloading the Priority Pass app
For ease in utilizing your benefits, download the Priority Pass mobile app. The Priority Pass mobile app takes the guesswork out of using your membership's food and beverage credit. Simply download the Priority Pass app for either Apple or Android, sign in, and find a participating restaurant.
The application will display all participating lounges and restaurants at an airport. When you tap on a restaurant, you'll be able to see restaurant-specific information, including the food and drink allowance amount and guest policy.
Priority Pass Private Suites
Restaurants and lounges aren't the only airside amenities that members can access through the Priority Pass program. The Priority Pass program also includes a few ways to catch some Zs through terminal lodging options.
Minute Suites
Minute Suites is one of the terminal lodging options that can be accessed by Priority Pass members, offering a complimentary first hour at any Minute Suites location. Each additional hour prices at a significantly discounted rate. If you happen to have multiple Priority Pass memberships, you could try to piggyback your stay across them as well.
Minute Suites are great if you need quiet to concentrate on work or some privacy. There is room for two to sleep, and Minute Suites provide guests with bedding, a workstation, and a sound masking system to neutralize noise. Select locations also offer shower suites for a fee.
Sleep ‘N Fly and other terminal lodging options
Outside of the U.S., Priority Pass members will still have access to terminal lodging options at some major international airports. At Dubai International Airport (DXB) and Doha Hamad International Airport (DOH), Sleep ‘N Fly offers travelers sleep pods similar to Minute Suites.
Amenities vary by location, but most Sleep ‘N Fly locations feature a bed, fold-away table, chargers for various electronics, plus storage for bags. Priority Pass members receive up to three hours at no charge. Additional time can be added to any stay for an hourly fee.
Outside of the Middle East, there are airports in Europe and Asia that offer Priority Pass members airside lodging options. Here are some of the locations that participate in the Priority Pass program:
- YotelAir at Paris-Charles de Gaulle International Airport (CDG)
- Kepler Club at Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen International Airport (SAW)
- Ambassador Transit Lounges at Singapore International Airport (SIN)

Complimentary Spa Treatments
Priority Pass members can also enjoy complimentary spa treatments at major airports across the globe. With locations worldwide, Be Relax Spa offers Priority Pass members basic massage treatments at no cost. Treatments range from a 10-minute head massage to a 30-minute back massage.

Play Golf or Video Games Through Priority Pass
Travelers with a Priority Pass membership can enjoy golf or video games during their next layover. Priority Pass members have access to Gameway video game lounges at select airports in the U.S and Game Space Gaming Lounge in Dubai (DXB).
While amenities and access vary by location, members typically receive an hour of access and complimentary soft drinks. More information about Gameway lounges can be found here.
If you're hoping to perfect your golf game, Priority Pass members have access to the PGA Lounge at Minneapolis International Airport (MSP). The PGA Lounge features dining options and a PGA golf experience. Present your Priority Pass card to receive $15 off food and beverages or a golf experience.
Swim at the Airport via Priority Pass
Arguably the most unique and exciting amenity offered by any lounge is the airside swimming pool found at Punta Cana International Airport (PUJ).
Located in the VIP Lounge in Terminal B, Priority Pass members can access all of the lounge's amenities, including the outdoor rooftop pool. The pool overlooks Terminal B's apron, offering unrivaled aircraft spotting. Swimming at the airport is a bizarre yet exciting experience.
Workstations, Hotel Discounts, and Rental Car Status
There are additional perks to Priority Pass membership if you pay for a membership versus receiving a membership through your credit card. You'll also get access to Jabbrrbox workstations, special hotel discounts, and status with a major car rental company.
Paid Priority Pass memberships come with a discount at IHG Hotels & Resorts and complimentary Avis Preferred Plus status. Avis status benefits include priority service, car upgrades, a free additional driver, and a voucher for a free weekend rental in Europe after your third rental.
These benefits aren't groundbreaking by any means, but they add another layer of value to a Priority Pass membership.
Bottom Line
Lounge access without having to fly in premium cabins is one of the best evolutions in credit card benefits over the past decade. Lounge access through Priority Pass as a cardholder benefit truly changes the way you travel and makes the layover/pre-flight experience one to enjoy, rather than grit your teeth and endure. Beyond that, Priority Pass goes beyond airport lounges and clubs.
Eligible Priority Pass members can also enjoy a food and beverage allowance at participating restaurants. Beyond restaurants, Priority Pass offers members spa treatments, terminal lodging, and even access to a rooftop swimming pool.

How’s this article dated oct 31 2025 ? The restaurants have not been a part of priority pass ( at least not Chase-provided ) for over a year

So the PPS from Chase Ritz-Carlton card does not offer unlimited guests anymore? It was unlimited before.
I’m a Canadian subscriber living in Mexico. In January, I signed up for a Mexico issued “The Platinum CREDIT Card American Express” (not to be confused with “The Platinum Card American Express”; two Amex cards that exist in Mexico that differ in name only by the word ‘CREDIT’. The card I signed up for had a promotion on, which included 10 complementary Priority Passes and no annual fee for the card for the first year. I though this was a pretty great deal seeing as with tax, each priority pass costs around $32 USD and was therefore getting around 320 USD worth of priority passes for free. I looked but couldn’t find an equivalent card on the US Amex site (correct me if I’m wrong). It seems to be a card that has the cost of a green US Amex but with some of the perks of the US “The Platinum Card”. Just sharing this info as there may be other subscribers who are eligible to apply for a Mexican Amex and don’t know about this card. Even when the second year starts and your annual fee kicks in, the cost is only $175 USD (3300 pesos). You can add 3 additional cardholders at no charge and have additional benefits like travel and auto rental insurance among other benefits like 10% off Pricetravel. If you do need more than 10 passes, then you can just pay for them as needed at 32USD each. For me this was more suitable than paying the extravagant cost of the other platinum card (in Mexico it’s 1000 USD per year) as I don’t fly so frequently to be able to take advantage of the unlimited entry to the Centurion Lounges. Currently, the promotion offereing 10 Priority Passes has ended but the card still includes 4. Including a link to the card if anyone is interested. Cheers.

In Japan, priority pass worth $400 is available with Rakuten Gold card for an annual fee of less than $100 (10800 yen to be exact). I wish they add some restaurant in Tokyo soon.

the IHG is truely a ‘hidden’ benefit (don’t think it exists).
Have been trying since this published to ‘find’ how to get the IHG 30% off. Multiple emails directing me to the pp portal to book (although PP says to ask IHG, and IHG links don’t work). Pretty sure it does not exist (yet). Would love to know if ANYONE has had any luck even finding the alleged link where you could locate a hotel and check the price. DB

Great list! I do think these passes are awesome, but it usually is only worth it if you have a long layover. If not, I always feel reluctant to use my passes. The one time I did I think the wifi was down, which made for a sad time.

My partner and I both have PPs through credit cards. As we are based in Sydney we plan, towards the end of the year, on checking if we have any passes left that we are unlikely to use and, if so, off we will go to SYD for a feed. No flying necessary and no passes wasted. Nice.

Re: the Avis Preferred Plus, as you alluded to… good luck. Just lost 45 minutes. Sapphire Reserve / Priority Pass user. 1) Called Avis, they didn’t know of the program. 2) Called Priority Pass, they say SR members can not sign into PP on-line and all information must come from the Credit Card Co. Our PP# are not in the Priority Pass database 3) Called Chase, didn’t know of upgrade to Avis Plus, said to call Priority Pass. Gave me a discount code. 4) Called Avis, they said I would get Plus status when I earned it, despite my explaining the possible upgrade benefit. Oh, well. btw, Chase was the only State side English speaker in the bunch.

Kevin — we’re right there with you trying to work through all the details on it. The folks at PP don’t seem to be especially helpful but we’re not giving up yet.
I also contacted Avis on this and was eventually sent to a membership supervisor. They told to email profile.update@avisbudget.com with my current Avis membership number and Priority Pass number. I sent that about a month ago and have yet to hear anything back. Ill send another email and see if that gets a response and let you know.

The Ink Preferred does not provide a priority pass membership/lounge access.
It is a great success this initiative to include restaurants in the list of Priority Pass benefits.

I’ve been thinking my next card will be the Amex Platinum, and these perks I didn’t know about that go along with the Priority Pass membership are certainly sweetening the deal!

I’m afraid that’s true, unless you pay, of course. I have been in that position too. I guess you need to weigh up the total cost and decide if the lounge visit for 2 of you is worth the cost you pay for one. That will depend on the quality and the facilities of the lounge and the length of stay that you have.
If you travel regularly together and aren’t part of a frequent flyer program or another method that allows you lounge entry then it could be worth both being signed up. Everyone’s appreciation of value will be different, of course.
So the new trend of Priority Pass is to give 28 USD for eating at a restaurant or brasserie.
This is a positive thing because it’s a supplementary bonus in addition to the entrance to the 1000 airport lounges.

Simply Put, I throw away my Priority Pass card associated with my Hilton Surpass. It provides complimentary access to no lounges/spas/restaurants.
I hope this deal eventually allows enhanced benefits at more US airports.
These are some great perks. Wish they were more generally available. I noticed that the lounge list seems to be in flux, soI lost access to my favorite lounge in MSP.

Honestly, it really depends on the airport. If you have to leave security and re-clear, I likely wouldn’t do it unless I had a REALLY long connection.
I’ve used the minute suites priority pass benefit on several occasions and definitely appreciate an hour to get out of the airport madness before my flight. I’ll be flying to Denver for a conference next week and I look forward to trying the restaurant that is now a benefit. There’s no doubt that for me, the priority pass membership alone makes up for the annual fee of my Amex Platinum!

Definitely interesting, hopefully the benefits expand in the near future. Unfortunately the trend I’ve noticed over the past year with PP membership is that US lounges are disappearing from the program (at least in Chicago and New York).
Priority pass had to do something as many of the lounges have been declining entrance due to being too busy, which seems to be the case for many locations Most of the days.
What is the reason that these extra perks are not more widely publicized?

The Chase card above is the only one that you collect the Ultimate Rewards with, correct? I have the Sapphire and Ink for $95 a year, if I exchanged one of mine for the Sapphire Reserve would the UR accounts merge?

you’ve asked 2 question. The answer to #1 is no. You earn Ultimate Rewards on all of the cards listed in this post: https://awardwallet.com/credit-cards/chase-ultimate-rewards/do-chase-points-expire/. That said, the points associated with the two Freedom and Ink Cash cards cannot be transfered to airline/hotel programs. If you personally have the Sapphire Preferred/Reserve or Ink Preferred card as well, you can move the points between cards fluidly (at no cost) and then transfer them to airlines/hotels.

In the chart you included, what does “Virtual Priority Pass Access” refer to? I have the Chase Sapphire Reserve card and I am unfamiliar with this term and how it affects my membership to Priority Pass.
mak, it is being able to use Priority Pass through your smartphone — I’ve renamed the column to “Digital Priority Pass Card”. Some memberships support a digital card, others don’t. Purely for convenience-sake, if you don’t have your card but rather your smartphone, you can save the card as a pass on it.

Went through Heathrow twice last week without my PP physical or digital card. Visited Aspire and (?) another lounge and they simply required my PP number and expiration date for entry.
The last column in the chart above is “Authorized User Fee” – is this an additional fee required to use the lounge access benefit? Is it annual? If so, based on calendar year or from date of purchase?

The Authorized User Fee is the fee required to add an Authorized User on your credit card account. Authorized Users, in many cases, receive the same benefits as the primary cardmember — which is the case with Priority Pass across these cards. It is charged on an annual basis from when the users are added (prorated to match up with your annual fee date).
