During buy Qatar Avios promotions, Privilege Club members can buy Qatar Airways Avios for as little as 1.35¢ apiece. However, you can actually purchase Avios for even cheaper — around 1.33¢ apiece — without having to wait for Qatar to launch its next best-ever promotion.
Thanks to Qatar Privilege Club Pro, you can get miles (and maybe even Qpoints) deposited into your account each month. Here's everything you need to know, and how to see if it's worth it to sign up.

What Is Privilege Club Pro?
Privilege Club Pro is a program that offers subscribers a fixed number of Avios each month. You can choose between four different plans, and the highest tier also deposits Qpoints into your account each month, so you can fast-track your way to status.
You have the option of paying monthly or annually, but the miles will be distributed monthly, regardless of your payment method.
Qatar isn't the only airline to offer a subscription plan — Air France Flying Blue Subscribe to Miles, Avianca LifeMiles+, and United Miles by the Month all offer similar plans. But despite the low price, Privilege Club Pro leaves quite a bit to be desired.

How Qatar Airways' Subscription Program Works
It's very easy to subscribe to Privilege Club Pro. Simply head to the Privilege Club Pro webpage to compare plans, then review them to determine which one best suits your needs.

You will see four monthly options:
- Access (2,500 Avios for $50/month): 2¢ apiece
- Select (7,500 Avios for $130/month): 1.73¢ apiece
- Exclusive (15,000 Avios for $240/month): 1.6¢ apiece
- Ultimate (20,000 Avios and 5 Qpoints for $350/month): 1.75¢ apiece
When purchasing an annual subscription, you receive the same number of Avios per month at a different rate:
- Access (30,000 Avios for $500/year): 1.67¢ apiece
- Select (90,000 Avios for $1,300/year): 1.44¢ apiece
- Exclusive (180,000 Avios for $2,400/year): 1.33¢ apiece
- Ultimate (240,000 Avios and 60 Qpoints for $3,500/year): 1.46¢ apiece
You need to earn 150 Qpoints to upgrade to Privilege Club Silver status, so the Ultimate Privilege Club Pro subscription would only get you started. You'll still need to fly a lot to reach Silver status over the course of a year.

Should You Subscribe to Privilege Club Pro to Get Avios?
Given that AwardWallet users redeem Avios for an average of less than 2¢ each, a monthly subscription charging as high as 2¢ per Avios may not be a good deal.
If you can wait for another buy Qatar Avios promotion, it's a lot cleaner way to score a stash of Avios without dealing with an expensive monthly or annual subscription.
Whether you should subscribe to the program will ultimately come down to your travel goals, but if you do, it would make sense to purchase the annual plan to save a bit of money. Keep in mind that regardless of your subscription, your miles are deposited each month. If you want to make a redemption immediately, don't assume you'll receive 240,000 Avios immediately after subscribing to the Ultimate annual plan.
Also, you can transfer points from several credit cards to Qatar Airways Privilege Club, including Citi ThankYou® Points and American Express Membership Rewards. If you need a few thousand points to complete a redemption, you'd be better off transferring points from one of the following partners to Qatar rather than subscribing to a plan.
Final Thoughts
For most people, the Privilege Club Pro program isn't worth it. Getting Avios monthly means you might have to wait several months before you have enough Avios to book a redemption. Even the Ultimate plan offers Qpoints, it doesn't get you halfway to the first tier of elite status. After all, $3,500 a year is a hefty price to pay for such limited benefits.
If the program offered additional benefits, like status, discounts on award redemptions, priority boarding, or something else, the value proposition would be much clearer. Until then, it's better to stay away unless your main priority is getting cheap Avios over time.
