Good news for travelers hitting the road soon, especially to Mexico, Europe, Asia, or Africa. Wyndham Rewards is currently running three promotions. We have the first good promotion of 2023 that's not limited to one brand. Members can earn 15,000 bonus points after staying three nights at participating properties outside the Americas.

Another promotion gives members quintuple points and $100 property credit for stays at Alltra resorts in Mexico, and a third gives double points on stays at Club Wyndham resorts.

The Wyndham Rewards base earning rate is 10 points per dollar spent. Due to this, you will earn a whopping 20-50 points per dollar on the Wyndham resorts promotions.

Here's what you need to know about maximizing these Wyndham promotions.

15,000 Bonus Points at Non-Americas Properties Promotion

Wyndham 15k Points Promo

Here's a great promotion for Wyndham Rewards members traveling abroad. And by abroad, I mean across an ocean, as no properties in North or South America participate in this promotion.

  • As usual, you will need to register for this promotion.
  • After registering, book three or more nights at a participating Wyndham property in Europe, Africa, Eurasia, or the Middle East before April 30, 2023. Note that the nights don't have to be consecutive.
  • You must complete your nights before September 30, 2023.
  • You will earn 15,000 bonus points after completing all three nights.

As Wyndham properties require 7,500 to 30,000 bonus points for a free night, 15,000 bonus points are enough for two free nights at some hotels. In other words, stay three nights overseas and get enough points for two free nights.

Terms and Conditions

  • Members must register first before booking their stay(s).
  • Nights must be booked before April 30, 2023.
  • Nights must be completed before September 30, 2023.
  • This promotion is valid at participating properties in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Nepal.
  • Stays must be booked directly with Wyndham, not a third-party website or booking platform.
  • This promotion can only be claimed once per member.
  • Bonus points will be credited within 2-4 weeks of completing the third qualifying night.
  • Members who have elected to earn airline miles/partner points in their Member profile will earn base miles/partner points.

[Booking closed] x5 Points and $100 Property Credit at Alltra Resorts Promotion

Wyndham 5X Points at Alltra Resorts Promo

This promotion is similar to one we had in 2022 with Wyndham offering x5 points at all-inclusive Wyndham resorts in Central America and the Caribbean.

This promotion is even better with a $100 property credit you can use on your stay. However, it's also limited to the Alltra brand. The Altar brand only has three locations in Mexico — including the newly opened resort near Puerto Vallarta.

To take advantage of this promotion, members must book a stay of two or more consecutive nights at a Wyndham all-inclusive Alltra resort in Mexico before March 1, 2023. At the time of book, select the “Let's Celebrate Package”.

The stay must be completed by December 18, 2023. You will earn five times the base points on your stay after completion. In addition, you will receive a $100 property credit to be used on select goods and services at the resort.

The good news is the “Let's Celebrate Package” rate is about the same as the Best Available Rate.

This promotion is limited to the following Alltra resorts in Mexico:

Terms and Conditions

  • Resorts must be booked with a direct booking channel (directly with Wyndham).
  • x5 points are awarded on the base points earned for the stay.
  • Eligible purchases with the $100 property credit vary by participating Wyndham Alltra hotel and are determined solely at the discretion of each hotel.
  • You can only claim this bonus once. Members who complete more than one qualifying stay during the promotion period will be awarded the bonus on the first stay.
  • A no-show will forfeit the bonus.
  • Stays booked before registering will not count toward this promotion. So, consider canceling and rebooking your stay if you already have one booked.
  • Go Fast and Go Free award stays are also not eligible for this offer.
  • You should receive your points within 2-4 weeks after completing your stay.
  • Bonus will be awarded in the form of Wyndham Rewards points, even to members who have elected to earn airline miles in their member profile (although their base earnings will continue to be awarded as miles).
  • Wyndham doesn't list a cap on the number of points you can earn from this promotion.

[Expired] x2 Points at Vacation Club Resorts Wyndham Promotion

Club Wyndham 2X Points Promo

Wyndham is now running a promotion for anyone looking to stay at Club Wyndham Resorts this winter.

Club Wyndham Resorts include more amenities than your normal hotel or resort. For example, it includes 1-3 bedroom suites, washers and dryers, full or partial kitchens, and pools and activity programs.

First, register for this promotion. After registering, book a stay of two or more consecutive nights at a participating Club Wyndham Resort before February 28, 2023.

Your stay must be completed before March 10, 2023. You will earn double base points on your stay upon completion.

This promotion is valid at the following Club Wyndham Resorts:

Terms and Conditions

  • This promotion is only valid on new bookings after registration.
  • Go Fast and Go Free award stays are also not eligible for this offer.
  • This promotion is not combinable with other Wyndham Rewards bonus point multiplier offers.
  • Blackout dates and other terms apply.
  • Excludes taxes.

Our Take

These three Wyndham promotions offer bonus points on a variety of types of trips. Get double points on Club Wyndham resorts, quintuple points at Alltra Resorts, and 15k bonus points for staying just three nights outside the Americas.

Just make sure to register before booking (and select the “Let's Celebrate Package” at Alltra Resorts). After that, enjoy your vacation at your favorite or new Wyndham property while reaping the benefits.

If you haven't already done so, you can still link your Wyndham account to Bakkt to earn 1,250 bonus points. That promotion has been extended indefinitely.

If you're looking for another way to earn Wyndham points, you can get the Wyndham Rewards Earner® Plus Card. However, better travel rewards cards and hotel-specific cards exist for our readers.

  • Enjoyed the Wyndham in San Francisco 4 * hotel.

Wyndham credit card provide elite status.

  • Wyndham Credit card gives you elite status with Wyndham and Caesar’s through status matching.

    Extra points are fabulous.

  • I just feel miles are better spent on air travel…

  • Undoubtly Wyndham is my favourite hotel chain, this is a good promotion

  • Marta Graciela Laporte says:

I stayed in Dazzler Hotels by Wyndham and I loved it. It was a business travel, they made us an upgrade and after the check out they invited us to join the reward program. Waiting for my next stay with them. Best regards, Marta

  • Since Wyndham devalued suddenly without notice a couple years ago, it has left bad taste and I left the program for good.

  • I love Wydham for all the free night they kick out. !!! I ‘ve had many a reward night stays… the properties are bit sketchy… but it works.

  • I co-sign QFFlyer’s comment. It would be great if Caesars propertie were included. Otherwise, I only stay in Wyndhams when they’re the only game in town and I need a place to hang my hat. Nonetheless, I registered for all of the listed promos, just in case.

  • I miss the days when all Wyndham rooms were 15K points, you could really find some solid deals then….obviously too good to last, but not many Wyndham properties are worth 30k points IMHO….still it’s a useful program in the right context….loved staying at a Wyndham in Blue Earth, MN of all places….they can come in real handy sometimes.

  • Such a great deal for my trip in January! Great blog!

  • Sounds interesting!. Does it apply to wyndham hotels in Argentina??

    • Ariel – I haven’t seen anything in the terms saying it doesn’t apply. You can check the terms when you sign up for the promotion.

  • Shame Caesars properties aren’t included, Wyndham are so underwhelming in general, but if you’re going to stay anyway might as well take the points.

  • Wyndham have very few properties which I would consider aspirational. If all you need is a bed to hang your head on, then go for this promo.

  • I really like a Wyndham hotel however appreciate I’m maybe in the minority there

  • Seem like nice promos to get you back at the Wyndham!

  • Ed, you need to stay only 2 nights in one stay on the weekdays to get the promo #2. The promo #1 has no specific requirements on how to stay 4 nights (what days, and in how many stays) – anything would work for promo #1.

The point is that if you qualify for Promo #2 those same 2 (or more) nights will also be counted towards your completion of promo #1.

Obviosuly, you will not start planning a trip because of the promos, but if you already have something planned, you may re-consider and book at Wyndham because of the promos.

    Good luck.

  • They must have a very small pool of points allocated for the promotions.

  • Thank you, nice post

  • So only a week to book it, must check in on a sunday to wednesday and stay 4 nights. Where do they come up with these restrictions? why bother with a bonus at all when like 10 people will qualify?

  • The_Bouncer says:

I agree. Worth registering but not worth moving any business for.

  • This is why Wyndham is my favourite hotel brand, thanks for the bonus

  • I’m mad at Wyndham at the moment. Got dinged after applying for the Earner card with the high SUB. Darn it! 🙂

  • se puede comprar las noches y usarlas en 2022 ? se ganan igualmente las millas …

  • Most of Wyndham-affiliated properties here in the Middle East is Ramada hotels, which is not very attractive ones, so hard to stay in Wyndham properties.

  • Registered, just in case. Haven’t really looked at Wyndham hotels in a while, been too loyal to IHG and Marriott.

  • Omar giammarino says:

Es una gran noticia ahora que se está abriendo el turismo

  • Dave Hanson says:

Good points, but why not mention the Wyndham Earner Business card as well? For readers who could qualify for a business card, it’s a far superior option than the Earner Plus card from the same bank.

  • Any views on Wyndham Rewards generally? I’m getting less and less enthused with IHG’s properties nowadays and the reduction in meaningful Elite benefits. Thinking about switching allegiances to Wyndham.

  • A timely long weekend stay can be a rewarding opportunity in this case.

  • Per the T&C, it’s not a one-time offer:

“Members are welcome to complete as many Offer Qualifying Stays as possible between March 17, 2021 and May 31, 2021; each separate Offer Qualifying Stay that is completed will earn the applicable Bonus.”

  • Katherine Kline says:

7,500 points is a great deal!!

  • 30k points a night? I haven’t stayed at a Wyndham lately but didn’t they have a cap max at 15k per night at their properties?

  • Mike Underhill says:

What a handy opportunity to earn more points. Thanks for laying it out so clearly.

  • Wyndham Rewards is one points scheme that really passes me by. I’ve stayed in the occasional Ramada over the years, but other than that I’m much more interested in Hilton, IHG and even perhaps Marriott. This is a good offer though for anyone for whom their hotels are in convenient locations.

  • Not a bad reward if you need a 3 night stay, dont forget to sign up.

  • Thanks. This was great to get for travel planned anyway

  • Think i will be register this offer, Before i have stay at Sanya’s Wyndham hotels, it’s have big swimming pool and would like to go to Sanya next Month, register a member and this offer, will be earn one free night . Cool.

  • My work plans have changed to include a couple days at a location where a Wyndham hotel is the best (only) option. I don’t think I had signed up for this promotion but I referred back to this article. Unfortunately I can’t double dip on the promotions (my stay will end after the expiration date) but I will get many more points for the one promotion for which I will qualify.

I would love to see an article on how to manage Wyndham’s unusual point expiration policy (Points expire 4 years after they are awarded or 18 months with no account activity) Is there any way to know that some of our points are about to expire?

    • If you log into your desktop acct (not app) under Activity, it tells you how/when next group of points expire.

  • No travel means no hotel stays. I wonder how this will all work out….

  • Sadly no hotels stays now til the holidays. I hope they all have promos this winter. I also have a hard time getting my husband to not go through his precious Expedia for hotels. I was able to take advantage of several hotel promos this summer though. It was really nice seeing my accounts go up in points. Now I just need to see where I will use them. I like Wyndham and have some to use there, maybe I’ll a nice stay in one of their properties this winter.

I am wondering if you think holding their cc or Choice hotels card is a good idea if you don’t stay often? I know at least Choice hotel card doesn’t have an annual fee, so that one is really appealing, especially since MR transfers there.

    • His “precious Expedia.” LOL. I’d be intrigued to learn the reasons for his fond feelings, as there’s several good reasons to usually avoid booking with such online travel agencies. But, I’m always open to learning!

      • Agreed, although – when I was traveling pre-pandemic and when I resume traveling later – Chase Travel, which actually works with Expedia, is the way I book trips that I pay for with Ultimate Rewards points.

  • Departure date until September 10, 2020? Why do companies not adapt to the crisis we are experiencing? We need flexible dates.

  • As long as register in time would previously booked stays be eligible?

    • JT Genter says:

It seems you’re all set! The T&C state: “Members must register for the Offer before completing their Qualified Stay during the Promotion Period in order for it to count toward this Offer.” But it doesn’t say that you have to register before booking.
