Emirates has a new promotion offering Skywards members 5,000 bonus miles with their next hotel stay — in addition to up to 12,500 miles per night base earnings. But with a few caveats. Members must use a Visa card, and claiming the miles isn't straightforward. Here are the details.
Emirates 5,000 Bonus Miles with One Hotel Stay Promotion
Emirates already offers significant rewards for Skywards members to book through Emirates Skywards Hotels. Members can earn 10,000 bonus miles per night, plus an additional 2,500 bonus miles per night when using the Emirates Skywards Rewards World Elite Mastercard®.
A new promotion from Emirates offers members 5,000 bonus miles on their next stay with Emirates Skywards Hotels, in addition to the miles earned each night. However, claiming these miles is not straightforward. First, you need to use a Visa credit or debit card to book your stay by January 31, 2026. Eligible stays are between November 18, 2025, and February 28, 2026.
Bonus miles are supposed to credit to the member's account within two weeks. However, after you complete your stay, you will likely need to follow up with Emirates to get your miles credited to your account. In previous versions of this promotion, members have reported not receiving their bonus miles and have had to contact Emirates to claim them.
This promotion is provided by Emirates in partnership with Rocket Travel, which provides Rocketmiles. It appears that Emirates claims the Rocketmiles and converts them into Skywards miles for its members. Members can only claim the bonus once with a new booking.
