What To Know About This Welcome Offer
You’ll earn 100,000 bonus points and a 25,000-point Global Companion Award after spending $6,000 or more on purchases within the first 90 days of opening your account. This offer is 30,000 points higher than the standard offer, but requires an additional $3,000 in spending.

How the Global Companion Award works
The Global Companion Award you'll earn with the welcome offer takes off up to 25,000 points off a companion’s award ticket when you book two people on the same itinerary with Atmos points. It works in any cabin with Alaska, Hawaiian, and eligible partner airlines. You’ll still need to pay taxes and fees on both seats.
If the companion award costs more than 25,000 points, you pay the difference with your own points, so it's essentially a 25,000-point discount. However, if the companion award costs less than 25,000 points, you can't keep the difference for later, so it's best to use it when you know you'll use the entire amount.
Atmos Summit Visa Card Benefits
The premium Atmos Summit Visa Card comes with a $395 annual fee. Here's the benefits and rewards you'll earn with this card:
- Annual Global Companion Award: You’ll earn a 25,000-point Global Companion Award every year on your cardmember anniversary. If you spend $60,000 during your cardmember year, you’ll also earn a 100,000-point award Global Companion Award, which can be great for business class seats to Europe.

Who’s Eligible for the Atmos Summit Visa Card Bonus?
The Atmos Summit Visa Card is issued by Bank of America. Here are Bank of America’s application rules to keep in mind:
- The 2/3/4 rule limits you to two new Bank of America cards in a rolling two-month period, three in a rolling 12-month period, and four in a rolling 24-month period.
- If you have a Bank of America deposit account, you’ll likely be denied if you’ve opened seven or more cards across all banks in the past 12 months. If you don't have one, that limit drops to three in the past 12 months.

Short-haul routes from 4,500 Atmos points
I take a lot of short-haul domestic flights, some of which can get unusually pricey. However, with Atmos Rewards some short-haul awards start at just 4,500 points one way. These come in handy for me when I'm bouncing around several short-distance flights to visit family and friends. Here's an example of a flight from Buffalo to Philadelphia, which often costs a few hundred dollars for an hour-long flight.
Fly from the West Coast to Hawaii
Once we moved to the West Coast, Hawaii quickly became one of my family's favorite places to visit. My top use of Atmos Rewards is for flights to Hawaii starting around 12,500 points each way. Here's an example from Los Angeles (LAX) to Honolulu (HNL):
