The Edit is Chase's luxury hotel program for Chase Sapphire Reserve® cardholders. Formerly known as the Luxury Hotel & Resort Collection, the program gives travelers access to a curated collection of high-end hotels and resorts, along with perks.
Here's what you need to know about The Edit and how to take advantage of its benefits.
The Edit Perks
The Edit gives Chase Sapphire Reserve® cardholders access to a curated collection of luxury hotels and resorts that can be booked with cash or Ultimate Rewards points.
The program also offers elite-like benefits on eligible stays, including breakfast for two, early check-in and late checkout when available, property credits, room upgrades, welcome amenities, and more. Additionally, reservations booked through The Edit can earn both Ultimate Rewards points and hotel loyalty rewards.
That last part is pretty significant. Normally, booking through a third-party platform like Expedia or Hotels.com means you won't earn hotel points or receive elite night credit. While not every property in The Edit participates, eligible hotels display a banner indicating that the stay qualifies for rewards in the hotel's loyalty program.

The Edit Credit
Additionally, Sapphire Reserve cardholders receive up to $500 in annual statement credits on prepaid reservations booked through Chase Travel’s The Edit. The credit is split into two $250 credits and applies to eligible stays of two nights or more.
This credit not only helps cardholders take advantage of the benefits that come with The Edit but also offsets a meaningful portion of the card’s substantial annual fee.

How To Book Through The Edit
When Sapphire Reserve cardholders search for hotels through the Chase Travel℠ portal, participating properties will display The Edit logo. Alternatively, you can access the collection directly.
Reservations can be booked with cash or Ultimate Rewards points. Thanks to Chase's Points Boost feature, eligible redemptions can provide up to 2 cents per point in value.
United credit cardholders also have access to a similar collection through Renowned Hotels and Resorts, previously known as the Luxury Hotel & Resort Collection. They receive the same on-property perks but can't pay for stays with Ultimate Rewards points.
If you click on a hotel, you'll see the available benefits at that property when booking through The Edit with your Sapphire Reserve.

Bottom Line
The Edit by Chase Travel gives Sapphire Reserve cardholders access to luxury hotels, valuable on-property perks and the ability to book with either cash or Ultimate Rewards points.
And best of all, eligible stays can still earn hotel points and elite night credits in participating loyalty programs. That's a pretty compelling combination.
