Guests staying at participating Choice hotels in the U.S. can enjoy a convenient perk during their stay: free Grubhub delivery — and the benefits extend 30 days beyond your stay.
While this isn’t a benefit everyone will use, it’s worth knowing about if you arrive late, don’t feel like leaving the hotel, or simply want an easy meal delivered. Here’s what you need to know.
How to Get Free Grubhub Delivery at Choice Hotels
Choice Hotels has partnered with Grubhub to offer Grubhub+ perks for hotel guests. When staying at a participating property, guests can avoid delivery fees on eligible Grubhub orders by following a simple process.
Here’s how it works:
- Scan the Grubhub QR code provided at the hotel and place your order through that link.
- During checkout, guests will receive a prompt to sign up for Grubhub+, providing free delivery for the next 30 days at no cost.
- No credit card is required to enroll in Grubhub+ as part of this offer.
With Grubhub+, delivery fees are waived on orders of $12 or more (before tax, tip, and fees) from participating Grubhub+ merchants. Guests will still need a credit card to pay for food and applicable taxes, tips, and service fees — but the delivery fee itself is removed.
This offer is available at participating Mainstay, Clarion Pointe, Sleep Inn, Comfort Inn, and Everhome hotels across the U.S. where Grubhub operates.

Importantly, there are no automatic charges or renewals once the free 30-day Grubhub+ period ends. The membership simply expires if you don’t already have Grubhub+ through another source.
Our Take
This is a practical benefit, especially for Choice guests who arrive after a long day of travel or don’t want to leave the room for food. While Grubhub obviously isn’t the only dining option, having delivery fees waived can make ordering in a bit more appealing.
It’s also worth noting that Amazon Prime members receive Grubhub+ as part of their membership, so this perk may be less useful for those travelers. But for guests without Prime — or anyone who doesn’t already have Grubhub+ — this is a nice, low-effort benefit to be aware of when staying at participating Choice hotels.
