Many cell phone providers offer perks to their customers outside of their plans, which includes everything from food and gas discounts to free in-flight Wi-Fi. T-Mobile is one of the leaders offering complimentary Wi-Fi on multiple airlines. Now it's expanding travel perks for customers by offering free premium drinks on board most Delta flights.
How to Get a Free Drink on Delta Flights as a T-Mobile Customer
To receive the premium free drink, simply link your T-Life account to your Delta SkyMiles account in the T-Life app. Premium drinks include alcoholic beverages such as beer, wine, spirits and canned cocktails.
In order to receive this perk you'll need to:
- Be on a flight over 350 miles
- Be on a flight were premium drinks are not already complimentary
- Link your eligible T-Mobile account to your SkyMiles account
Most T-Mobile post-paid plans qualify for this benefit.

How Good Is This T-Mobile Customer Perk?
Alcoholic beverages on most Delta flights cost between $9 to $12. If you don't drink, then you won't gain any value from this perk as nonalcoholic beverages are complimentary across all cabins on Delta.
Additionally, if you're:
- Flying in Delta Comfort+ or in premium cabins alcoholic beverages are complimentary
- Flying on most international flights alcoholic beverages are complimentary

Select Delta SkyMiles Medallion elite members also receive drink vouchers, meaning they could potentially use both benefits to enjoy multiple complimentary beverages on the same flight.
If you're on an eligible Delta flight and none of the above benefits apply, this perk could save you up to $12 if you planned to grab a drink onboard.
Furthermore, if you decide to purchase additional drinks, holding an any Delta SkyMiles credit card will earn you 20% back as a statement credit on eligible inflight purchases, including drinks.
