If you’re planning to book a Best Western stay soon, there are two promotions worth considering. The first offers 3X points on stays in the U.S., Canada or the Caribbean through May 10, 2026, as long as you register and book by March 3, 2026.

The second promotion awards a $50 gift card after completing three nights at participating properties in select regions. It’s repeatable up to three times, meaning you could earn as much as $150 in rewards on stays through May 10, 2026.

Here’s everything you need to know to register, qualify, and maximize these offers.

Get a $50 Best Western Gift Card Every Three Nights

If bonus points don’t entice you, this gift card promotion might. Best Western Rewards members can earn a $50 Best Western gift card every time they complete three nights (up to $150 total) on eligible stays through May 10, 2026. Eligible nights don’t need to be consecutive.

To participate, simply log in to your account to register automatically. Eligible stays include any Best Western property in the U.S., Canada, and the Caribbean.

Unlike Best Western Rewards points, which don’t expire, these gift cards will expire on August 2, 2026, so be sure to use them before then.

Earn 3X Points on Stays in the U.S., Canada or the Caribbean

This new Best Western bonus points promotion won’t be around for long, so time is of the essence. If you register and book by March 3, 2026 (you’ll be registered automatically once you log in to your account), you can earn 3X bonus points on every stay in the United States, Canada, or the Caribbean Islands through May 31, 2026.

There’s no cap on the rewards you can earn. However, Best Western spells out in the terms and conditions that members can take advantage of this promotion a maximum of ten times during the promotional period.

There’s also no minimum stay requirement, but only stays booked at an eligible, points earning rate qualify.

Our Take

Best Western Rewards doesn’t get as much attention as some other hotel loyalty programs, but if you stay at its properties often, there’s usually at least one worthwhile promotion that can make your stays more rewarding. And right now there happens to be two.

If you plan to take advantage of either offer, be sure you’re registered before you book, and pay close attention to the booking deadline and travel window. That way, you won’t miss out on any bonus rewards.

  • John says:

Not a fan, the gift card is only for Best Western, and expires August 3rd

  • Jill Schmidt says:

For the 10,000 Bonus Points Every 3 Nights promotion, do stays booked with points count as a night?

    • JT Genter says:

Unfortunately no. The terms state “An “eligible night” for the purpose of this promotion is defined as a stay of at least one night at any Best Western branded hotel, at a rate eligible for earning BWR points.” Since reward nights aren’t eligible to earn BWR points, they wouldn’t qualify to earn bonus points through this promotion.

  • JohnB says:

Best Western is an under-rated program. BW isn’t really a chain. All BW properties are individually owned and operated. BW just acts as the marketing and reservation service for the properties. Where BW really shines, is in the small towns and cities in Europe, that don’t have properties from the big chains. These properties can be easily reserved via BestWestern.com. BW also status matches all the big chain programs. Plus many of the accommodations in Europe are unique and less expensive than the big chains.

Many times in Europe, BW saved us money and offered nicer properties than the big chains.

    • Ryan Smith says:

John, Agree that it’s underrated. My wife and I stayed at the BW near the Grand Canyon and saved a bunch of money redeeming BW points + getting free breakfast from my status.

  • KS says:

Their website indicates you must book through their website. No travel agencies. I confirmed with BW.

    • JT Genter says:

That’s right. We noted in the post: “Stays booked through an online travel agency, tour operator, or at a discounted rate are ineligible.”

  • Eduardo Queiroz says:

Best Western is a great option, but the prices charged have increased a lot

  • Oscar says:

Best Western is a great option to travel in small stay! I like i very much and have great deals with advance reserved

  • Jorge Fabian Gonzalez says:

Although this promotion is not valid for Argentina , it worth chosing a Best Western for staying due to price/quality balance.

  • Andrew says:

Always appreciate the chance to get a few extra points than normal, nice bonus from best western!

  • AJ says:

When you are in a town where the bigger chains aren’t nearby, staying at a Best Western isn’t too bad. Easy way to pick up some extra points.

  • Rosario says:

Considering the fact that the points Best Western are almost useless I don’t think this promotion will have a lot of attention.

  • Ani says:

I have two BW stays coming up that are a day apart. I wonder if the GC will show up electronically in time for me to use it for the second stay

  • Lenin1991 says:

Always sign up for every BW bonus regardless of your plans: I’ve found that they often don’t strictly start & end on the stated dates.

  • Nicolas says:

Good deal, but not very useful is you are not in the US, Canada or the Caribbean.

  • Nicolas says:

Good deal, but not very useful if you’re not in the US, Canada, Caribbean.

  • Vaneet Aggarwal says:

This is good if you are going to BestWestern

  • Kevin says:

That expiration date is way too soon to entice people to stay at one of their properties over another brand’s. Okay bonus if you’re already planning a stay with them.

  • Charles says:

.. perfect to stack this offer with the Rakuten offer.

  • Tom says:

A plus with BW Rewards is that points don’t expire,

  • Kevin says:

I need to look more fully into Best Western. Now might be the time ?

  • Chris says:

Does Best Western have a different brand name for its higher-end properties?

  • Maryjane says:

I’ve signed up. Nice to get more value out of stays I’d do anyway. The one problem with the gift cards is that they expire only a few months after they are issued so they need to be used very quickly. No problem for frequent travelers but not great for those who only travel once per year.
