Our Take

Wyndham has more promotions than normal right now — and this number only increased once its annual Member Month kicked off on March 4, 2026. But if any of the offers available now pique your interest, be sure to register (if required) and pay close attention to the terms and conditions before you book.

Remember that you can earn more Wyndham points with the Wyndham Rewards Earner® Plus Card or Wyndham Rewards® Earner℠ Business Card. However, other travel rewards credit cards and hotel credit cards may be a better fit for paying for your hotel stays, so be sure to compare your options before you apply.

  • JohnB says:

Barclays plays lots of games as to what qualifies for these payments. Many utility bills don’t qualify because merchant codes don’t line up with the offer. For example, they don’t consider water bills as a utility. Same for sewer, same for streaming. Like Sirius-XM is streaming but they say isn’t. Too many hoops for too little points to be worth setting this up.

  • Keith says:

Thanks, I have been trying to get a good reward card from them and this looks good for my next trip

  • Mel says:

Since they just massively devalued the point use for Vacasa, I think it is time to steer clear of Wyndham points!!

  • euromannn says:

Enjoyed the Wyndham in San Francisco 4 * hotel.

Wyndham credit card provide elite status.

  • euromannn says:

Wyndham Credit card gives you elite status with Wyndham and Caesar’s through status matching.

    Extra points are fabulous.

  • Mia says:

I just feel miles are better spent on air travel…

  • Silvia says:

Undoubtly Wyndham is my favourite hotel chain, this is a good promotion

  • Marta Graciela Laporte says:

I stayed in Dazzler Hotels by Wyndham and I loved it. It was a business travel, they made us an upgrade and after the check out they invited us to join the reward program. Waiting for my next stay with them. Best regards, Marta

  • david says:

Since Wyndham devalued suddenly without notice a couple years ago, it has left bad taste and I left the program for good.

  • Tim says:

I love Wydham for all the free night they kick out. !!! I ‘ve had many a reward night stays… the properties are bit sketchy… but it works.

  • Froide says:

I co-sign QFFlyer’s comment. It would be great if Caesars propertie were included. Otherwise, I only stay in Wyndhams when they’re the only game in town and I need a place to hang my hat. Nonetheless, I registered for all of the listed promos, just in case.

  • Mikey says:

I miss the days when all Wyndham rooms were 15K points, you could really find some solid deals then….obviously too good to last, but not many Wyndham properties are worth 30k points IMHO….still it’s a useful program in the right context….loved staying at a Wyndham in Blue Earth, MN of all places….they can come in real handy sometimes.

  • Samanta says:

Such a great deal for my trip in January! Great blog!

  • Ariel says:

Sounds interesting!. Does it apply to wyndham hotels in Argentina??

    • Ryan Smith says:

Ariel – I haven’t seen anything in the terms saying it doesn’t apply. You can check the terms when you sign up for the promotion.

  • QFFlyer says:

Shame Caesars properties aren’t included, Wyndham are so underwhelming in general, but if you’re going to stay anyway might as well take the points.

  • Jennifer says:

Wyndham have very few properties which I would consider aspirational. If all you need is a bed to hang your head on, then go for this promo.

  • Paul says:

I really like a Wyndham hotel however appreciate I’m maybe in the minority there

  • Andrew says:

Seem like nice promos to get you back at the Wyndham!

  • VL says:

Ed, you need to stay only 2 nights in one stay on the weekdays to get the promo #2. The promo #1 has no specific requirements on how to stay 4 nights (what days, and in how many stays) – anything would work for promo #1.

The point is that if you qualify for Promo #2 those same 2 (or more) nights will also be counted towards your completion of promo #1.

Obviosuly, you will not start planning a trip because of the promos, but if you already have something planned, you may re-consider and book at Wyndham because of the promos.

    Good luck.

  • Charles says:

They must have a very small pool of points allocated for the promotions.

  • Vladimir says:

    Thank you, nice post

  • Ed says:

So only a week to book it, must check in on a sunday to wednesday and stay 4 nights. Where do they come up with these restrictions? why bother with a bonus at all when like 10 people will qualify?

  • The_Bouncer says:

I agree. Worth registering but not worth moving any business for.

  • Ignacio says:

This is why Wyndham is my favourite hotel brand, thanks for the bonus

  • Kevin says:

I’m mad at Wyndham at the moment. Got dinged after applying for the Earner card with the high SUB. Darn it! 🙂

  • Gabriela says:

se puede comprar las noches y usarlas en 2022 ? se ganan igualmente las millas …

  • jessie says:

Most of Wyndham-affiliated properties here in the Middle East is Ramada hotels, which is not very attractive ones, so hard to stay in Wyndham properties.

  • JAXBA says:

Registered, just in case. Haven’t really looked at Wyndham hotels in a while, been too loyal to IHG and Marriott.

  • Omar giammarino says:

Es una gran noticia ahora que se está abriendo el turismo

  • Dave Hanson says:

Good points, but why not mention the Wyndham Earner Business card as well? For readers who could qualify for a business card, it’s a far superior option than the Earner Plus card from the same bank.

  • Tony says:

Any views on Wyndham Rewards generally? I’m getting less and less enthused with IHG’s properties nowadays and the reduction in meaningful Elite benefits. Thinking about switching allegiances to Wyndham.

  • Karl says:

A timely long weekend stay can be a rewarding opportunity in this case.

  • Stephen says:

    Per the T&C, it’s not a one-time offer:

“Members are welcome to complete as many Offer Qualifying Stays as possible between March 17, 2021 and May 31, 2021; each separate Offer Qualifying Stay that is completed will earn the applicable Bonus.”

  • Katherine Kline says:

7,500 points is a great deal!!

  • T Dang says:

30k points a night? I haven’t stayed at a Wyndham lately but didn’t they have a cap max at 15k per night at their properties?

  • Mike Underhill says:

What a handy opportunity to earn more points. Thanks for laying it out so clearly.

  • ECR says:

Wyndham Rewards is one points scheme that really passes me by. I’ve stayed in the occasional Ramada over the years, but other than that I’m much more interested in Hilton, IHG and even perhaps Marriott. This is a good offer though for anyone for whom their hotels are in convenient locations.

  • steve says:

Not a bad reward if you need a 3 night stay, dont forget to sign up.

  • Ann says:

Thanks. This was great to get for travel planned anyway

  • Tyler says:

Think i will be register this offer, Before i have stay at Sanya’s Wyndham hotels, it’s have big swimming pool and would like to go to Sanya next Month, register a member and this offer, will be earn one free night . Cool.

  • Maryjane says:

My work plans have changed to include a couple days at a location where a Wyndham hotel is the best (only) option. I don’t think I had signed up for this promotion but I referred back to this article. Unfortunately I can’t double dip on the promotions (my stay will end after the expiration date) but I will get many more points for the one promotion for which I will qualify.

I would love to see an article on how to manage Wyndham’s unusual point expiration policy (Points expire 4 years after they are awarded or 18 months with no account activity) Is there any way to know that some of our points are about to expire?

    • Pam says:

If you log into your desktop acct (not app) under Activity, it tells you how/when next group of points expire.

  • m says:

No travel means no hotel stays. I wonder how this will all work out….

  • KareK says:

Sadly no hotels stays now til the holidays. I hope they all have promos this winter. I also have a hard time getting my husband to not go through his precious Expedia for hotels. I was able to take advantage of several hotel promos this summer though. It was really nice seeing my accounts go up in points. Now I just need to see where I will use them. I like Wyndham and have some to use there, maybe I’ll a nice stay in one of their properties this winter.

I am wondering if you think holding their cc or Choice hotels card is a good idea if you don’t stay often? I know at least Choice hotel card doesn’t have an annual fee, so that one is really appealing, especially since MR transfers there.

    • EC says:

His “precious Expedia.” LOL. I’d be intrigued to learn the reasons for his fond feelings, as there’s several good reasons to usually avoid booking with such online travel agencies. But, I’m always open to learning!

      • Froide says:

Agreed, although – when I was traveling pre-pandemic and when I resume traveling later – Chase Travel, which actually works with Expedia, is the way I book trips that I pay for with Ultimate Rewards points.

  • florencia says:

Departure date until September 10, 2020? Why do companies not adapt to the crisis we are experiencing? We need flexible dates.

    • J says:

I think this is them adapting though. They’re encouraging more stays at a time when people aren’t traveling.

    • Kevin says:

I agree. This seems to be targeted to essential travelers rather than leisure travelers like most of us.

  • Pam says:

As long as register in time would previously booked stays be eligible?

    • JT Genter says:

It seems you’re all set! The T&C state: “Members must register for the Offer before completing their Qualified Stay during the Promotion Period in order for it to count toward this Offer.” But it doesn’t say that you have to register before booking.
