It’s nearly Halloween, so it’s as good a time as any to pay a quick visit to the graveyard of award travel deals. Soon, you’ll find the Wyndham–Vacasa partnership among the many that have disappeared in recent years. Vacasa will stop participating in the Wyndham Rewards program entirely in early 2026.

Here’s what to know about the wind-down of this partnership and how it'll affect any Vacasa reservations you currently hold or may need to modify.

Vacasa Will No Longer Participate in the Wyndham Rewards Program

We’ve long appreciated the value of redeeming Wyndham Rewards points for stays at Vacasa vacation rental properties. Despite a major devaluation that Wyndham rolled out nearly two years ago, there was still plenty of value to be found. But unfortunately, this partnership will meet its bitter end in 2026, due to Vacasa’s recent acquisition by Casago.

Thankfully, though, there's a bit of an off-ramp. Members still have time to make new reservations and modify or cancel existing ones before Vacasa leaves Wyndham Rewards completely.

Here are the key dates to know:

  • If you want to make a new booking: You can redeem Wyndham Rewards points for new Vacasa Free Night reservations through November 30, 2025. All new stays must be completed by January 31, 2026.
  • If you need to modify a reservation: You can modify existing Vacasa Free Night reservations through November 30, 2025. All updated stay must be completed by January 31, 2026.
  • If you’re wondering about your existing reservations being honored: Any Vacasa Free Night bookings made before October 30, 2025, that remain unmodified will still be honored, even if the stay takes place after January 31, 2026.

Need Wyndham Points Fast?

There’s not much time left before the booking window closes for good, so if you’re hoping to make one last Vacasa booking (or two), you still have options to top off your account.

While you can always purchase Wyndham points outright, you can also transfer them in from a few partner rewards programs. Both methods are faster than signing up for a new Wyndham credit card and waiting to earn a welcome bonus.

That said, if you already have a Wyndham credit card, remember that you’re eligible for a 10% discount on all Wyndham “Go Free” redemptions, which includes Vacasa vacation rentals.

Bottom Line

It’s always disappointing when a partnership ends — especially one that’s long helped travelers unlock great value for their points. While there will still be other ways to use points and miles to book vacation rentals, using Wyndham Rewards points for Vacasa stays will soon no longer be one of them.

Thankfully, all current reservations will still be honored. And there’s still some time to make final bookings before the window closes completely on November 30, 2025. Just don’t wait too long, as availability is likely to dwindle as that deadline approaches.
