United and Lyft just announced a new partnership, enabling Lyft riders to earn MileagePlus miles on their trips. Here's everything you need to know, including how much you'll earn on your Lyft rides.
Earn United MileagePlus Miles on Lyft Rides
Starting today, November 5, 2025, you'll earn United MileagePlus Miles on Lyft rides at the following rates:
- 1 mile per $1 on Standard, Priority Pickup, and XL rides.
- 2 miles per $1 on Standard, Priority Pickup, and XL rides with your company business profile.
- 3 miles per $1 on Extra Comfort, Lyft Black, Black SUV, and on-demand airport rides.
- 4 miles per $1 on scheduled airport rides.
Although 1 mile per $1 on standard rides isn't much to write home about, the ability to earn 4 miles per $1 on scheduled airport rides is fantastic.
