On January 14, 2026, Bilt launched three new credit cards in partnership with Cardless. As part of this rollout, Bilt phased out Milestone Rewards and introduced Bilt Cash. In short, this is a new rewards currency that members and cardholders can earn and redeem across a range of merchants.
Now that the full set of redemption options is live, we can take a closer look at how the Bilt Cash ecosystem works. There are several ways to use it, including for hotel benefits, rideshare purchases, rent and mortgage convenience fees, and more.
Here's what you need to know.

What Is Bilt Cash?
Like many rewards programs, Bilt Rewards offers incentives to keep members engaged and spending on linked cards. Previously, those incentives came in the form of Milestone Rewards, which let you choose a benefit for every 25,000 Bilt Points earned.
Even though Milestone Rewards only launched in February 2024, Bilt has already moved in a new direction. Bilt Cash has replaced Milestone Rewards as the program’s new engagement-based rewards currency, with redemptions going live for the first time on February 1, 2026.

How to Earn Bilt Cash
All Bilt Rewards members will earn $50 in Bilt Cash for every 25,000 Bilt Points earned, with the rewards automatically deposited into their account.
In addition, cardholders of any of the three new Bilt cards can earn Bilt Cash based on their selected rewards preference. Those who choose Flexible Bilt Cash as their Bilt-exclusive bonus rewards will earn 4% back on everyday purchases, excluding rent and mortgage payments, and on top of any Bilt Rewards points earned. Meanwhile, those who select Housing-only Rewards won’t earn it on their spending.

The $0 annual fee Bilt Blue Card, $95 annual fee Bilt Obsidian Card, and $495 annual fee Bilt Palladium Card all offer the same earning rates when it comes to Bilt Cash.
Interestingly, two of these new cards also offer a lump sum of it as part of their current welcome bonuses.

Bilt Cash expiration policy
Most importantly, Bilt Cash expires at the end of each calendar year. Members can roll over up to $100 into the following calendar year.
How to Redeem Bilt Cash
Bilt Cash exists alongside Bilt Points but serves a different purpose. You can redeem it for dollar-for-dollar monthly credits, premium experiences, and enhanced rewards across the Bilt ecosystem. Redemption options span dining, travel, health, entertainment, and more.
To view your balance, head to your Wallet either online or in the Bilt app. You’ll see your available amount displayed in a tile; click it to explore redemption options.

Here’s a look at some of the ways you can use your Bilt Cash.
Cover rent and mortgage convenience fees
As part of Bilt 2.0 (what Bilt is calling the new version of its program), rent and housing payments that earn Bilt Points now carry a 3% transaction fee. Members can redeem Bilt Cash to offset this fee, helping reduce or eliminate the out-of-pocket cost. There’s no limit to how much Bilt Cash you can redeem toward housing payment fees each year.
As shown below, I tested the new mortgage payment system by redeeming $0.30 in Bilt Cash to offset the fee of part of a $10 payment.

Bilt Travel Portal hotel credits
Bilt Rewards members with Blue and Silver elite status can redeem up to $50 in Bilt Cash each month through the Bilt Travel Portal, with a two-night minimum stay required. Gold and Platinum elite members can redeem up to $100 each month under the same two-night minimum requirement.
This benefit can also be stacked with the $200 hotel credit on the Bilt Palladium Card, if you have the card.
Points Accelerator
For $200 in Bilt Cash, Obsidian and Palladium cardholders can unlock an extra 1 Bilt Point per $1 spent, up to 5,000 bonus points, through the end of the calendar year. Members can redeem this benefit up to five times per year.
Fitness class credits
Members can book fitness classes through Bilt Rewards and redeem up to $40 in Bilt Cash each month to offset the cost. This credit applies to classes booked through Bilt’s partner studios, including:
- Soulcycle
- Y7
- Pure Barre
- Rumble Boxing
- BFT
- CycleBar
- YogaSix
- CorePower Yoga
- Barry's
Lyft ride credits
Members can redeem up to $10 in Bilt Cash each month toward a single Lyft ride, as long as Bilt Rewards is selected as their earning partner.
Walgreens credits
Members can redeem $10 in Bilt Cash each month for a $10 Walgreens gift card, which can be used online or in store.

Bilt Collection credits
Members can redeem up to $10 in Bilt Cash each month toward items in the Bilt Collection, a curated selection of merchandise offered through the program, such as exclusive A$AP Rocky vinyl releases.
Home Delivery credits
Bilt Home Delivery, powered by GoPuff, offers grocery and convenience delivery directly through the Bilt platform. Members can redeem $5 in Bilt Cash each month for a home delivery credit. Notably, Bilt Silver members and above receive waived delivery fees on all orders.
Bilt Dining credits
Members can redeem $25 in Bilt Cash each month at participating Bilt Dining partners when paying through Bilt mobile checkout.
Bilt Dining Experience credits
Starting March 1, 2026, members can redeem $50 in Bilt Cash each month toward eligible Bilt Dining Experiences booked through the program.
Bilt Comedy Experience credits
Also launching March 1, 2026, members can redeem $50 in Bilt Cash each month toward eligible Bilt Comedy Experiences booked through the program.
Blacklane credits
Blacklane, a black car transportation service, is especially useful in markets without Uber or Lyft availability. Members can redeem up to $50 in Bilt Cash per year toward Blacklane rides.
Priority Pass guest passes
Exclusive to Bilt Palladium Card cardholders, Bilt allows members to redeem $35 in Bilt Cash up to twice per month to cover guest fees for a third and fourth guest visiting participating Priority Pass lounges.
Unlock Home Away from Home benefits
Starting March 1, 2026, Blue and Silver members can unlock one luxury hotel rate per year through Bilt’s Home Away From Home program for $95 in Bilt Cash. Gold members and above receive this benefit at no cost.
Blade helicopter transfers
Members can redeem $350 in Bilt Cash per seat for Blade helicopter transfers, up to twice per year, beginning March 1, 2026.
Bottom Line
Of course, any new rewards tied to everyday spending are a welcome addition to the loyalty landscape. But so far, Bilt Cash redemption options feel somewhat underwhelming and unnecessarily complex (just ask the internet). Most people don’t want another monthly or annual credit to track, though the ability to personalize your benefits is still a positive.
The strict expiration policy, combined with limited and highly structured redemption options, also increases the likelihood that some of it will expire unused at the end of the calendar year.
Overall, Bilt Cash is a solid bonus if you earn it naturally through your existing Bilt activity, but it’s not something worth going out of your way to pursue. Those who stand to benefit most are members with high annual card spend and large housing payments, who now have effectively unlimited points-earning potential under Bilt 2.0.
