It seems like if you're young, the benefits just keep piling up. Not only do you have knees that don't creak, but now for the month of May, you're also able to get a discount on your TSA PreCheck application, but only if you do it right.
Here's how.
TSA Launches a Limited-Time Discount on PreCheck
The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) announced today in a press release that just in time for summer and college and high school graduation seasons, it will be offering a limited-time $20 discount on applications for its TSA PreCheck trusted traveler program.
“As young adults embark on new adventures – whether it’s travel for school, work, or fun – TSA PreCheck offers a quicker and smoother airport security experience. With this special discount, we’re empowering the next generation of travelers to make TSA PreCheck a part of their journey”, said Ha Nguyen McNeill, a TSA Senior Official Performing the Duties of the Administrator.

How to Save $20 on the Cost of TSA PreCheck Enrollment
To take advantage of this promotional discount, make sure to submit your application between May 1 and May 31, 2026, via one of the three authorized third-party enrollment providers. These are CLEAR, IDEMIA and Telos, and include enrollment processing facilities outside of airports so you don't have to visit one just for this specific task. All you have to do is start your application online with the authorized provider, then complete the application in person.
There are no required discount codes to qualify for this promotion, you just need to be 30 years of age or less at the time you submit your application. If you're turning 31 during the month of May, just make sure you submit your enrollment prior to your birthday so you won't miss out on the $20 savings.
If you complete your in-person enrollment through CLEAR, your discounted 5-year membership will come up to be $59.95, $56.75 through IDEMIA and lastly, $65 with Telos.

Note that this promotional discount does not apply to TSA PreCheck renewals — it's only good for new applications.
