Best Western members can enjoy up to a 50% discount on award night bookings for stays through February 4, 2024. There are three levels of discounts during this promotion, depending on the base points redemption value of the hotel.
Best Western offered a similar promotion in 2021, so we're happy to see it come back (albeit with slightly different rewards). Here are the details.
Best Western Award Discount Rates
For stays through February 4, 2024, members can book Best Western award nights with up to a 50% discount. Award nights at Best Western hotels range from 5,000 to 70,000 per night, with an average of around 24,000 to 40,000. Only Los Angeles, Vancouver, New York, and Chicago have rooms for more than 40,000 points, going as high as 70,000 points per night. With this offer, those rooms would only be 40,000 points per night.
Hotels requiring 5,000 or 8,000 points for an award night have no discount for this promotion. Otherwise, members can get award nights for the following rates:
- 10,000 points: Discounted rate for bookings that typically cost 12,000 to 20,000 points
- 20,000 points: Discounted rate for bookings that typically cost 24,000 to 40,000 points
- 40,000 points: Discounted rate for bookings that typically cost 56,000 to 70,000 points
For example, stay at a well-rated Best Western Plus near the Atlanta airport for just 10,000 points. That's half of the normal 20,000-point rate for this property.
Terms and conditions
- There is no limit to the number of nights you can book with this promotion.
- Bookings must be made in advance to get these rates.
- Rates apply only to the points booking rate; extra charges, such as parking fees, may be added at some properties.
- This promotion is only valid at hotels in the United States, Canada, and the Caribbean.

If you already have a Best Western stay booked with award points, you might be able to cancel your booking and make another one to take advantage of this discount.
Best Western Rewards points transfer to many airlines. However, you can't transfer points to Best Western. That means this promotion will only be useful to those who already have Best Western Rewards points. There have been quite a few Best Western bonus points promotions recently to help you out. If you have some Best Western rewards points saved up, this could be a great time to use them.
