What Is Vacations by Marriott?
If you're unfamiliar with it, Vacations by Marriott is an Expedia-powered platform to book vacation packages with flights and stays at Marriott properties. Rolling all your trip elements into one saves you the time of booking hotels and flights separately. Plus, you'll earn Marriott points on your entire package.
Many airlines and hotel chains offer vacation package booking platforms, such as Alaska Vacations, Delta Vacations, Southwest Vacations, and Hilton Getaways. These platforms are relatively similar, allowing you to save time by booking an entire vacation package, including flights, accommodations, car rentals, activities, and more.
Whether you book a vacation package through one of these booking platforms or which one you choose is an individual decision. Regardless of your choice, ensure you use the best travel rewards card to maximize your rewards on your spending.
Earn 20,000 Bonus Points on 4+ Night Vacation Packages Worldwide
Vacations by Marriott's first promotion of 2026 is live! From January 1 to January 31, Bonvoy members can earn 20,000 bonus points when booking an eligible vacation package with flights and four more nights to any participating destination worldwide. Eligible travel dates are through May 31, 2026.
Members can earn 5,000 bonus points per night, depending on the length of their stay (stays longer than four nights decrease the value per night).
Example booking
Eligible packages are at any Marriott property participating in Vacations by Marriott. Packages must include a stay of at least four nights plus airfare. Car rentals and excursions are optional.
For example, a four-night stay for two in Waikiki can cost as little as $749 per traveler, including round-trip flights from Seattle. This booking would earn 20,000 bonus points (worth roughly $185 in rewards) on top of the base points you’d already earn.
Note that when scrolling through the example bookings for this promotion, most offer packages with 3-night stays. Members won't earn the bonus points with these packages. Only vacations with stays of four or more nights earn the bonus points.
Promotion terms and conditions
- Book your package between January 1 and January 31, 2026.
- Travel between January 1 and May 31, 2026.
- Earn 20,000 bonus points with the package.
- Vacation packages must include at least four consecutive nights at any participating Marriott property worldwide.
- Marriott Bonvoy members will receive the bonus points within 1-2 weeks after the checkout date.
- Not valid on group bookings of 10 or more rooms.
- Promotion cannot be combined with other specific offers, sale promotions, or prior purchases/reservations.
- A limited number of rooms are available, and blackout dates and other restrictions apply.
- Valid on new bookings only.

Earn 25k bonus points with 4+ night all-inclusive vacation packages
In October 2025, Marriott Bonvoy members could earn 25,000 bonus points when booking an eligible vacation package with flights and four more nights at an all-inclusive resort. Members must have booked by October 31, 2025, and must complete the vacation by March 31, 2026.
Earn 20k bonus points with 5+ night vacation packages worldwide
The September Vacations by Marriott promotion offered Bonvoy members 20,000 bonus points with an eligible vacation package that included flights and five or more nights worldwide. Members must have booked by September 30 and must now complete the vacation by March 31, 2026.
Our Take
Vacations by Marriott continues to launch one rewarding promotion after another. While we didn't see an offer in November or December, an upcoming promotion in January provides 20,000 bonus points with a single 4+ night stay.
Vacations by Marriott packages are pretty lucrative offers if you prefer to bundle all your trip elements into one. If you don't prefer to travel that way, no worries; you can also check out other current Marriott promotions to see if any appeal to you more.
In recent AwardWallet user redemptions, Marriott Bonvoy points provided an average value of 0.93¢ each. At this rate, you're essentially getting roughly $185 worth of bonus points back on your Marriott vacation packages. That's in addition to any other savings from booking a hotel and air package or bonus points using a Marriott Bonvoy credit card.
While we always prefer to redeem points and miles for trips, this promotion can earn you a solid amount of bonus Marriott points if you plan to book a paid trip in January 2026 and travel by May 31, 2026.
