AAdvantage® Dining has a new promotion to earn 150 bonus AAdvantage miles per advanced booking with OpenTable reservations. This bonus is an addition to the normal miles you earn through the dining portal. This is yet another benefit to one of the best ways to earn miles and keep them from expiring: earning while you eat. Here are the details.
150 Bonus Miles With OpenTable Bookings and AAdvantage Dining
AAdvantage Dining is a great way to earn bonus miles with very little expenditure. In fact, you're earning miles on what you'd be doing anyway: eating. New members earn 1 mile per dollar spent through the platform. Members who subscribe to the mailing list earn 3 miles per dollar. After dining 11 times in a year, move up to VIP status and earn 5 miles per dollar.
American Airlines recently partnered with OpenTable to offer AAdvantage members even more bonus miles when booking through the AAdvantage Dining portal. A new promotion offers members 150 bonus miles on all advance bookings in the dining portal. Bonus miles are in addition to the regular miles earned through the shopping portal, plus 500 bonus miles for new members.
The steps to earn your bonus miles aren't complicated. Simply make a future reservation in AAdvantage Dining using the built-in OpenTable booking system, and then show up to your reservation. Members earn 150 bonus AAdvantage miles for every such reservation completed.

Our Take
150 bonus miles aren't a lot, but you hardly have to do anything to claim them. Keep in mind that airline and hotel dining programs are also a great way to keep your points and miles from expiring. And make sure you use the card that gives the biggest bonus on dining purchases. This will add even more to your earnings.
