Complimentary breakfast is a great perk of any hotel status, and eating without paying extra is a nice way to start the day. One often overlooked hotel program in the world of points and miles is Accor Live Limitless (ALL), which has undergone a few changes in recent years with the acquisition of Fairmont Hotels and a full strategy change for the loyalty program.
With the changes, we thought it would be helpful to put together this handy guide on how to score complimentary breakfast when staying at an Accor property worldwide. Read on for all the details on this interesting program and how it compares to other breakfast benefits you'll find in other loyalty programs.

Which Accor Brands Offer Free Breakfast to All Guests?
The first place we'll start is which Accor brands offer free breakfast to every guest, regardless of elite status. Believe it or not, Accor operates 47 brands around the world. If you're reading this in America, you may not have heard of most of them. However, for travelers worldwide, the brands may be more familiar.
Unfortunately, we could find only one brand that consistently offers breakfast for free for all guests across Accor brands: Pullman Hotels.
Pullman Hotels, one of Accor's luxury brands, has over 120 locations in 33 countries around the world. Interestingly, breakfast is included in every hotel rate at Pullman. Continental breakfast is typically included, though there are up-charge options for a heartier start to the day.
Get Free Accor Breakfast via Elite Status
The tried-and-true way to get free breakfast with most hotel loyalty programs is to earn mid- or top-tier elite status. Accor Live offers breakfast as a benefit at two elite levels, but unfortunately, it's not available every day in most markets. Let's dig into the details.

Accor Platinum free breakfast benefit
Accor Platinum status is earned at 60 nights in a calendar year, or 14,000 status points. For more information on how status points earning breaks down (it's confusing), check out our full guide to the Accor program.
Platinum members will receive complimentary breakfast at all Asia-Pacific hotels but nowhere else. However, they will receive executive lounge access worldwide — if one is available. In my frequent travels, I've found that an executive lounge usually offers some sort of breakfast buffet in the mornings. You can see a list of properties with an executive lounge here.
Countries included in “Asia-Pacific” include Cambodia, China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Malaysia, Maldives, Mongolia, Myanmar, Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand, and Vietnam.
Accor Diamond free breakfast benefit
Accor Diamond status is earned at 26,000 status points in a calendar year. At this level, you'll continue to enjoy lounge access and breakfast daily in the Asia-Pacific market. In addition, you'll also receive free breakfast worldwide — but only on weekends. That can be valuable at high-end hotels like the Fairmont Banff Springs or the Orient Express La Minerva in Rome, Italy.

Get Free Breakfast by Booking a Certain Room Type
Of course, you can always book a room that includes breakfast as part of its benefits. Taking a look at the list of brands, here are the ones that have lounges where rooms with lounge access would be available:
- Banyan Tree
- Fairmont
- Grand Mercure
- ibis
- MGallery
- Mövenpick
- Mercure
- Novotel
- Pullman (though all rates offer free breakfast at this brand)
- Sofitel
- Swissôtel

In addition, most hotels will offer a rate with breakfast if that option is available on the property. Some of Accor's brands are “apart hotels” or boutique in nature and may not have a restaurant facility available on-site.
Finally, I'd be remiss if I didn't mention the opportunity to book an Accor hotel through a credit card hotel program like Amex's Fine Hotels and Resorts, Capital One Premier Collection, Citi Luxury Collection, Chase's The Edit, the Visa Luxury Hotel Collection, and the Mastercard® Luxury Hotel & Resorts Portfolio.
All of the hotels within these collections will offer breakfast as part of their benefits for booking. I've found that Fairmont and Raffles properties typically can be found in Amex's Fine Hotels and Resorts program.
Which Accor Brands Don’t Offer Free Breakfast to Anyone?
Two brands within the Accor Live program don't offer free breakfast to anyone. They are:
- Adagio Access
- The Sebel
These two brands are “aparthotel” brands that don't offer restaurants at their properties. And there's no way to score a free breakfast at a hotel that doesn't offer one!
Overall
Accor Live's program is still fairly overlooked in the world of points and miles, given the brand's mergers and acquisitions in the past few years. However, if you're loyal to Accor due to preference, work commitments, or geography, we hope this guide has helped you enjoy some free breakfast on your next stay.
Overall, I'd say Accor is a little weaker on the free breakfast front compared to its competitors. You're not guaranteed free breakfast at every property throughout the week, and there are so many brands to keep in mind when utilizing your benefits.
