Priority Pass has announced yet another restaurant joining its network. This time around it is the American Tap Room at Washington DC National Airport/DCA. This new restaurant is the first Priority Pass facility within Terminal C.
What You Get
The restaurant is located in Terminal C, airside near Gates 35-45. It is open from 05:00 AM to 10:00 PM every day and serves a varied menu of contemporary American food in a casual, relaxed setting. Visiting Priority Pass members will receive:
- $28 credit towards food and beverage
- You are only allowed to register 1 guest, who will also receive a $28 credit towards food and drink
Guest Restrictions
Sadly, being restricted to one guest could be somewhat of a pain. Especially if you have received your Priority Pass membership through credit card enrollment as most premium travel rewards cards will cover 2 guests.
Oddly, Priority Pass does not seem consistent with their guest access policies across their network of restaurants, with several restaurants being restricted to one guest only, while others allow you the number of guests allowed by your financial institution.
Our Take
The list of Priority Pass restaurants seems to be expanding exponentially. This is great news since it will ultimately lead to less crowding at lounges across the network.

that’s great news. I need to book longer layovers to take advantage! (counter intuitive?)
Very good news.
Thanks for the post.
Excellent news!
@Maryjane-I would like to know the business model. The more members use this benefit, the more expensive it might become, Will the credit cards backtrack? For now, use and enjoy.
Great addition for those flying American since that is the only airline in that pier.
I think restaurants are going to become a very valuable benefit of Priority Pass. I wonder how much money the restaurant gets paid by the program? I can see how it would work…if it weren’t for the benefit, I almost certainly would not buy food in the restaurant, I’d wait until I got to my destination or bring my own food. So even though it might not be a lot of money for the restaurant, it’s better than nothing.
1 guest is better than none
We travel quite a bit and the addition of more and more restaurants to Priority Pass’s repertoire is music to my ears.
Another nice addition 🙂
Another benefit added, agree will make lounges less busy so all good.
Good addition to PP
Is there a tutorial, book or some video that will help me to understand more about my Award Wallet account ?
