Many of you know that Awardwallet is an incredible tool for keeping track of your loyalty accounts, but did you know that AwardWallet now tracks passports? If you didn't, you do now! If you're the one in charge of organizing group trips, you can also add multiple passports for family and friends. We hope this new feature makes life easier when your documents aren't handy. Here's how it works:
Tracking & Adding Passports
The process of adding your passport is very easy. Start by clicking your or your family member's name on the “Persons” link located on the far left side of the screen. If you're already logged in to your AwardWallet account, click here to add a passport.

You'll be directed to “Automatically Track Award Program.” Next click the “Manually Track Documents” tab located in the upper right as shown above.

Once you've clicked to “Add a Passport or a Travel Document,” you can finalize all of the pertinent information.

Of course, no passport feature would be complete without images, and you can add those too!
Adding Images
There are two ways you can add images to your profile:
- An attached image via desktop
- An attached image via the mobile app
Of course, all images are encrypted for your account safety and protection.
In desktop mode, simply go to the “Documents” section of your account list and hover over the “plus” icon next to the passport you want to add. When the window pops up, just select the “Image” tab.

From the mobile app, you can also add an image. Just choose the passport from your account list and tap pictures at the bottom of the screen.

Final Thoughts
There are a few other neat things the new passport tracking feature can do for you. We send custom expiration reminders 12, 9 and 6 months before expiration, so you have appropriate notice to begin the renewal process. Not only that, but you can manage passports for the whole family under one account. To quickly pull up a passport on the web interface simply type “passport John” where John is the first name of the owner. We'll keep looking for ways to improve your AwardWallet experience. Thank you for your continued support!

It’s really a very useful tool and will make our life easier!
Thanks! Do you track USA Visa expiration too?
If you add it as a travel document and indicate the expiration date, yes, we should send you a notification too.
wow! best wallet eveeeerrrr
Thank you. I put passports in for me and my family. Very convenient. I also put my trusted traveler and driver licence in in the comment section. Nice to have it all in one place.
This are an absolutely great news. Nevermore realize your passport have expired the day before the trip starts . . . like it happened to me!!!
Great new feature!
This is a great way to track passport expiration. As others metioned, it’ll be real helpful once Global Entry and PreCheck can be tracked. It’d be a big help for planning credit card fee credits for those renewals.
This is an excellent addition to your already great service! Thank you.
Wow, it’s a great addition to the already-amazing interface of AwardWallet. As long as the data is secured, I am happy to utilize this function. Thanks for the AwardWallet team.
This enhancement will certainly make it easier to keep track of passport expiration dates.
It will come in handy to have all these details in the one place along with my loyalty card information. Thanks!
Interesting new feature. I’m never comfortable storing my passport somewhere digitally, but I still think it is a useful tool to have for those who are comfortable with it.
Perhaps this feature should included up-to-date information on the passport renewal process.
I will not put scanned images of the passports in cloud if I can help it. There are way too many state sponsored hacking attempts out there.
could be useful especially if you lose your passport in a foreign country
Thanks for this; another great and useful feature from AwardWallet.
Still not able to find out how to link the AA accounts in one…

I think this feature can be very helpful. Thanks AwardWallet!
Very useful feature when booking trips.
Anyway, a little concerned about privacy and security.
This feature was added a year ago. AwardWallet is a very secure service. We always recommend our users to enable two-factor authentication to make their profiles much more secure:

I think this would be useful. However, I’m a little hesitant to scatter such important information around the internet. Could you point me to your current security/privacy policies to ease my concerns a bit? With security breaches being fairly commonplace these days, I’d like to refresh myself on how AwardWallet is keeping my information safe/private.

You guys are awesome. Thanks for the useful innovations and information you provide.
This is something that I had often wished that Awardwallet tracked. Thanks for adding it.
I thought this was a crazy idea at first (privacy concerns), but on second thought it could be helpful. I have two passports and one of them is due for renewal as I’m under the mystical six-month window.
Tracking passports for expiration dates is a plus. Thanks for this additional service.
Privacy issue solved?
Could you elaborate on it?
I’ve been enjoying this feature for quite awhile now. It’d be great if AwardWallet also tracked trusted traveler credentials and visas.
This is very handy, especially if you have under aged children whose passports expire sooner than adults. Handy to renew sooner that the requirements of certain countries who require more than 6 months on any passport before allowing entry into their country.
I feel like setting a calendar reminder every 9.5 years is sufficient…
This sounds great. There are many times I have needed the information from the passports, like when buying plane tickets. But it can be a nuisance to pull out the passports from where they are kept.
Wow! Another nice help from AwardWallet.
Wow! I didn’t know Award Wallet had this feature. Very cool!
Seems like a nifty feature! Will try it out!
This is a great addition to AwardWallet. I will do this as soon as I get a chance. It’s better than taking a picture on my phone, which I now do (and can’t find it when I need it). I suppose I can put my Global Entry number in the comments section and be all set!
Great idea, was already tracking there manually. Another great addition related to this would be TSA or GE program info.
Definite game changer for family travel
Nice addition. I’d like monitoring on pre-check status and the cards we have that provide that service.
Thank you! It seems very usedful this new function. Is it safe?

I love that you all continue to add features such as this. The only thing missing from your post, perhaps, is a statement on security and how sensitive information, such as passport numbers, is secured.

I predict this article has already and will continue to have you see more of us enable two-factor authentication. Just finished setup myself.
