Quick Thoughts

While I'm not a die-hard fan of Best Western, I still appreciate the brand's impressive footprint. Practically anywhere you need to go inside the U.S., you'll find a Best Western somewhere close by. Moreover, I've regularly found myself unexpectedly impressed by the quality of Best Western's properties—particularly its ‘Plus'-branded hotels.

While the limited validity of the certificate can limit its usefulness, it can still be valuable if you already have a stay in mind. I especially like that you can redeem the free night at any Best Western property. This potentially opens the door to outsized value if redeemed at an expensive property or an in-demand date.

In the end, if you have a couple of upcoming stays where Best Western offers an ideal location, this promo could be a no-brainer. Just remember to keep track of the certificate's expiration date.

  • This is such a fantastic offering from Best Western. My family has been able to take advantage of this offer on two separate occasions (different members) when unexpected travel was required for a family emergency over the holidays. Not only did this save us money, it improved our spirits during stressful times. The friendly service from the hotel staff was a breath of fresh air. We would not have known about this offer if it weren’t for this post – thank you for sharing and we have passed along this article to others!

  • I’ve been impressed by Best Western, and staying at the BW Plus on I-Drive in Orlando was a much-needed respite for an in-state-cation I took a few months ago. I still have the $25 certificate from that stay which hasn’t been used, and this promotion goes stale too quickly to be of much use, but it seems great for anyone who can take advantage of it.

  • Nowadays it’s difficult to have two stays by end of January.
Moreover, the certificate will be valid only through March.
Not a very good promotion in my opinion.

  • They need to find ways to kick start a low season somehow. Better than nothing though~

    • I think they might describe this particular period as more than a low season. It’s probably the biggest economic challenge the industry has ever faced. They need promotions to help pick themselves off the mat after the pandemic laid them flat.

  • MARINA PECAR says:

I love Best Western. I have stayed in different parts of the world and they always keep their line. Breakfasts are a great way to start the day.
This promotion sounds very very good

  • Pretty lame promo given the short expiration.

  • Dunno if I’ve ever seen a Best Western Plus. I’ll have to keep my eyes peeled.

  • Fabian Zurzolo says:

This is great news. I really like the Best Western chain, especially the hotel in Naples (Best Western Naples inn – Suites) in Florida on the Tamiani Trail. The attention of the staff is excellent. !!

  • Steven William Van Meter says:

A free night offer like this is worth doing. I like Best Western. They’re usually clean and comfortable (except in San Luis Obispo). Very good value.

  • I wish that they would extend this promo to places outside of north america. It seems lthe pandemic is still running rampant in the states so most people will not be taking them up on this offer.

  • “Only stays at Best Western properties in the U.S., Canada, or the Caribbean will qualify.”

The stay really targets the North American members.

  • It seems that Best Western regularly offers promotions with short redemption windows.
