Bilt Rent Day December 2023 is more than just one day. Cardholders will earn 2X points on purchases that normally earn 1X for Black Friday week, plus 10X points on Bilt Dining. Plus, other regular promotions are back, including the SoulCycle partnership, the “Rent Free” game show, Point Quest, and double points on spending during Rent Day (the first of the month).

Here's how you can maximize Bilt Rent Day December 2023 and why getting The Bilt Mastercard® can make more sense than ever.

2X Points on Holiday Shopping for Black Friday, Up to $20,000 in Spending

Bilt has a great promotion for this Bilt Rent Day as holiday shopping is upon us. Instead of only earning bonus points on December 1, cardholders will earn double points on all shopping purchases for five days in categories that normally only earn 1X. There is a limit of $20,000 in purchases, meaning members can earn up to 40,000 bonus points with this 2X points promotion. This offer runs from November 23 at 12:00 a.m. through November 27 at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time, covering all Black Friday and Cyber Monday purchases.

After reaching the $20,000 spending limit, earnings revert to 1X. Remember that you must use your Bilt Mastercard at least five times in a statement period to earn bonus points. Additionally, the double earnings don't apply to rent payments during this period.

10X Points on Bilt Dining

From November 24 through December 1, Bilt Rewards members will earn 10X points on all Bilt Dining purchases. Furthermore, this promotion stacks with the usual double points promotion described below for Bilt Rent Day on December 1. That means members will earn 16X points on dining purchases on December 1: 10X points with this offer and 6X points with the double points offer on the first of the month. This offer is capped at 20,000 bonus points, after which cardholders will earn the normal number of points for each restaurant.

To earn 10X, pay with any eligible card linked to your Bilt Wallet at any restaurant that participates in Bilt Dining. You can find participating restaurants in the Bilt Rewards app.

SoulCycle and Bilt Partnership Plus a Sweepstakes for Free Rent

Bilt is revamping its offerings as part of its SoulCycle partnership. This Bilt Rent Day, members have the opportunity to book one of the 10 rides available at each of 56 classes on Bilt Rent Day. Up to 10 cardholders can book classes at each location on December 1 on a first-come-first-served basis, either in person or using the app. One of these lucky Rent Day Ride participants will win a free month of rent, valued up to $2,500.

Previously, Bilt members could book a special 2-for-1 45-minute class and bring a friend with the chance of winning a free month of rent for both. Unfortunately, Bilt members aren't able to bring a guest to the class for free this month.

Members also can join the free rent sweepstakes without booking a class. Send your valid home address, name, and email address to rentdayride.giveaway@biltrewards.com. If the winning members attend a SoulCycle class, they will be informed at the class. If they entered by email, they will be notified by social media (specifically Instagram). Prizes over $600 require members to sign and return a Declaration of Eligibility, Liability & Publicity Release within seven days.

Bilt “Rent Free” Game Show

Promotional image of Bilt Rent Free

The “Rent Free” game show is back again. This month, several lucky winners will get a free month of rent, up to $2,500 per person. There were 7 and 5 winners in previous months, but we won't know how many winners there will be this month until the game launches.

Bilt collected answers to a question from 1,000 Bilt members for a Family Feud-style game. As soon as the Rent Day tab launches this month, members can try to guess the top three answers to the question. As usual, each member will get one entry into the sweepstakes for each correct answer (up to three entries). A different famous personality will host the game show each month. This month, New York native and food influencer Cug is hosting the show.

Members unable to play the game still can enter the sweepstakes. Email your valid home address, name, and email address, along with a sworn statement that you are legally blind or otherwise unable to complete the Rent Free Game Show due to a disability, to rentfreegiveaway.amoe@biltrewards.com.

Earn Up to 250 Bonus Points With Point Quest

Bilt Point Quest Feb 2023

Bilt Rewards Points Quest is back. On December 1, 2023, members can take the five-question quiz in the Bilt Rewards app.

This month, members will earn 10 points for getting the first question right, 20 points for the second question, on up to 50 points for the fifth question. That means you'll still get 150 points for five correct answers.

If you get all five questions correct, you'll get access to a bonus sixth question. The correct answer to the bonus question gives an extra 100 Bilt Points, for a potential total earnings of 250 bonus points.

Our Take

Bilt Rewards members can certainly earn a large number of points on holiday shopping and dining for this Bilt Rent Day, with the lion's share of those earnings afforded to those with the Bilt Mastercard. Keep in mind that 2X points on holiday shopping is valid from November 23 through November 27, and 10X points on dining is valid from November 24 through December 1.

The unique dining experience on December 1, available for 12,500 Bilt points or $150 per person, is an interesting opportunity. Obviously, cardholders in New York are more likely to be interested.

If you aren't already a cardholder, there are several reasons to have a Bilt Mastercard. Along with multiple promotions, Bilt remains one of the only cards you can use to pay rent without fees. Plus, Bilt offers a variety of appealing transfer partners, and the Bilt Mastercard has a $0 annual fee and no transaction fees for rent payments (Rates & Fees).

Remember Bilt cardholders can earn a maximum of 100,000 Bilt points per year on rent payments. Plus, you'll only earn 250 points at most on rent if you make less than five purchases each statement period. For most people, making five transactions per month isn't an obstacle, but it's important to remember that you need to use your card regularly to earn bonus points.

  • I’m curious to know the payout breakdown, but either way, I’ll happily grab my 25-50 extra Bilt points. Just got another 100 last night by linking another frequent flier program.

  • When will paying HOA fees earn BILT points? Rent and HOA fees are similar.

  • Interesting promos. Have to look into this card.

  • I think the United promo is smart of bilt. I know I am intrigued! I just am not planning on flying UA anytime soon so I am debating whether or not to try this promo.

  • This is a no-brainer card, and I’ve already earned nearly 20,000 points since getting the card at launch in April. It’s the perfect complement for my ABC points strategy (Amex/Bilt/Chase), and it also rounds out my card networks respectively for international purchases (Amex/Mastercard/Visa).
