Bilt Rent Day October 2023 is approaching, and Bilt has some exciting offers in store. As the NFL season gets underway, Bilt is offering special tickets for select NFL games — including suite tickets to an NFL game for just 10,000 Bilt Points! Plus, The Bilt Mastercard® cardholders can earn 5x total points on eligible sports tickets purchased on Rent Day.

Other regular promotions are back: the SoulCycle partnership, the “Rent Free” game show giving five cardholders a chance to win a free month of rent, the Point Quest, and double points on spending.

Here's how you can maximize Bilt Rent Day October 2023 and why getting the The Bilt Mastercard® can make more sense than ever.

Bilt Sports Tickets Promotions

This month's Bilt Rent Day offers two sports ticket promotions. First, Bilt members can snag NFL tickets for as few as 2,500 Bilt points — or suite tickets for 10,000 points. Additionally, eligible sports tickets purchased on October 1 will earn 5X total points (subject to caps and restrictions).

NFL suite experience tickets for 10,000 Bilt Points

The big promotion this month is the all-inclusive suite experience at three select NFL games on October 1 with all food, drinks, game tickets, and Bilt swag included. These first-come, first-serve tickets will go on sale on Wednesday, September 27 for 10,000 Bilt points. But there's a catch. Tickets will be made available to Bilt elite status members from the top down.

Bilt members can buy up to two tickets each for the following games on October 1:

  • Jets vs. Chiefs @ MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ — hosted by Bilt’s Creative Director, Julien Albertini.
  • Chargers vs. Raiders @ SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, CA — hosted by Bilt’s Director of Brand Marketing, Paige Rowin.
  • Texans vs. Steelers @ NRG Stadium in Houston, TX — hosted by Bilt’s VP of Travel, Richard Kerr.

Bilt Platinum status members will have the opportunity to purchase tickets at noon Eastern Time on September 27. If the tickets aren't sold out by 1 p.m., Gold Status members will get the opportunity to purchase tickets. Then, Silver Status members can purchase the tickets at 2 p.m., and Blue Status members can purchase the tickets at 3 p.m.

The promotion does not mention transportation and accommodations for the games, so these are presumably the responsibility of the Bilt member.

Miss out on the suite tickets? Bilt members also have the option of purchasing upper-level reserved-seat tickets to these games for 2,500 Bilt points, limited to 2 tickets per Bilt member.

5X points on sports tickets

On October 1, Bilt members will earn 5X total Bilt points on all eligible sports tickets purchased with their The Bilt Mastercard®. This breaks down as 1 base point, 1 bonus point through the Bilt Rent Day double points offer, and 3 bonus points through this Sports Ticket offer.

There's a cap of 10,000 bonus points through this offer, presumably meaning you'll earn the 5x total points on up to $3,333 in sports ticket purchases. Just remember that you need to use your card five or more times each statement period to earn points.

Eligible ticket purchases are defined as “sports tickets from ticket agencies or bought directly from the sports team” — regardless of the sport. Bilt clarifies that it's looking to the Merchant Category Codes (MCC) to determine which purchases qualify for 5x earnings.

Remember that you can use the AwardWallet Merchant Category Code Lookup tool to see how past purchases have coded for fellow AwardWallet users.

SoulCycle and Bilt Partnership Plus a New Sweepstakes for Free Rent

Bilt is revamping its offerings as part of its SoulCycle partnership. This Bilt Rent Day, members have the opportunity to book one of the 10 rides available at each of 56 classes on Bilt Rent Day. One of these lucky Rent Day Ride participants will win a free month of rent, valued up to $2,500. Cardholders can book classes starting at 7 a.m. Eastern Time on September 29th on a first-come-first-served basis.

Previously, Bilt members could book a special 2-for-1 45-minute class and bring a friend with the chance of winning a free month of rent for both. This month, Bilt members aren't able to bring a guest to the class for free.

Members also can join the free rent sweepstakes without booking a class. Send your valid home address, name, and email address to rentdayride.giveaway@biltrewards.com. If the members attend a SoulCycle class, they will be informed at the class. If they entered by email, they will be notified by social media (specifically Instagram). Prizes over $600 require members to sign and return a Declaration of Eligibility, Liability & Publicity Release within seven days.

Bilt “Rent Free” Game Show

The monthly free rent challenge was recently replaced by a “Rent Free” game show. This month, up to 5 lucky winners will get a free month of rent, up to $2,500 per person.

Bilt collected answers to a question from 1,000 Bilt members for a Family Feud-style game. Starting September 29 at 7 a.m. ET, members can try to guess the top three answers to the question. Just like the last two months, each member will get one entry into the sweepstakes for each correct answer (up to three entries). The game show will be hosted by a different famous personality each month. This month, actor, comedian, and sports fanatic Michael Rapaport is hosting the show.

The number of winners depends on how well the guest does during the hosted show.

Members unable to join the show can still enter the sweepstakes. Email your valid home address, name, and email address, along with a sworn statement that you are legally blind or otherwise unable to complete the Rent Free Game Show due to a disability, to rentfreegiveaway.amoe@biltrewards.com.

Bilt Double Points Earnings Promotion

Double Bilt Earnings Promo for Rent Day

As usual, Bilt is offering double points earnings on Rent Day.

On October 1, 2023, those with The Bilt Mastercard® will automatically earn 6X (instead of 3X) on dining, 4X (instead of 2X) on travel, and 2X (instead of 1X) on all other spending, excluding rent. A maximum of 10,000 bonus points can be earned on Bilt Rent Day. Just remember that you have to use your card five times each statement period to earn points.

Also, remember that you can get up to 11X Bilt Points when using The Bilt Mastercard® at a Bilt Dining restaurant on Bilt Rent Day.

Earn up to 250 Bonus Points in the Point Quest

Bilt Point Quest Feb 2023

The Bilt Points Quest is back. On October 1, 2023, members can take the five-question quiz in the Bilt Rewards app. This month, members will earn 10 points for getting the first question right, 20 points for the second question, on up to 50 points for the fifth question. That means you'll still get 150 points for five correct answers. If you get all five questions correct, you'll get access to a bonus sixth question. The correct answer to the bonus question gives an extra 100 Bilt Points, for a potential total earnings of 250 bonus points.

Our Take

This month's Bilt Rent Day certainly favors sports fans. Will you be one of the members to try to claim one of the full-experience NFL game tickets? Otherwise, you have the option of getting the upper-deck tickets for just a handful of Bilt points. Not able to make it to one of these games? Buy tickets for your preferred sports team on October 1 to earn 5x Bilt points.

If you aren't already a cardholder, there are several reasons to have a Bilt Mastercard. Along with multiple promotions, Bilt remains one of the only cards you can use to pay rent without fees. Plus, Bilt offers a variety of appealing transfer partners, and the Bilt Mastercard has a $0 annual fee and no transaction fees for rent payments (Rates & Fees).

Remember that there are limits to how many Bilt points you can earn per payment. Bilt cardholders can earn a maximum of 100,000 Bilt points per year on rent payments. Plus, you'll only earn a maximum of 250 points on rent if you make less than five purchases on your card each statement period.

Do you have the Bilt Mastercard yet? Are these Rent Day promotions changing your view of the card or the rewards program?

  • I’m curious to know the payout breakdown, but either way, I’ll happily grab my 25-50 extra Bilt points. Just got another 100 last night by linking another frequent flier program.

  • When will paying HOA fees earn BILT points? Rent and HOA fees are similar.

  • Interesting promos. Have to look into this card.

  • I think the United promo is smart of bilt. I know I am intrigued! I just am not planning on flying UA anytime soon so I am debating whether or not to try this promo.

  • This is a no-brainer card, and I’ve already earned nearly 20,000 points since getting the card at launch in April. It’s the perfect complement for my ABC points strategy (Amex/Bilt/Chase), and it also rounds out my card networks respectively for international purchases (Amex/Mastercard/Visa).
