Bonus MileagePlus Miles for Avis and Budget Car Rentals
Through April 15, 2023, United MileagePlus members will earn up to 1,000 bonus miles per car rental with Avis and Budget.
- Qualifying rentals of 2 to 4 consecutive days will earn 500 bonus miles.
- Rentals of 5 or more consecutive days will earn 1,000 bonus miles.
- Members will earn a maximum of 1,000 bonus miles per rental. However, the promotion doesn't say you can't repeat the offer multiple times. That means you can potentially earn several thousand bonus miles with this promotion.
These bonus United miles are on top of the usual miles you will earn on your car rental — which is up to 1,250 miles depending on your elite status and credit card:
- Members with Premium Platinum status and higher earn 1,250 miles per rental.
- Premium Silver and Premium Gold members earn 1,000 miles per rental.
- All United Chase cardholders earn 750 miles per rental.
- And all other MileagePlan members earn 500 miles per rental.

I plan to rent a car for a week in May. If I book it before April 15, will that count for this promotion? How do I link my United Airlines account?
Unfortunately, it won’t count for this promotion as this promotion requires that “Rental must be completed between November 16, 2022, and April 15, 2023.”
