Radisson Rewards Americas has extended its promotion. Now through June 30, 2023, members in the Americas can get 5,000 bonus points per stay — up to a maximum of 100,000 bonus points. Plus, all Radisson Rewards members (Americas and Worldwide) can still earn 3,000 bonus points after downloading the app and making the first booking. And there's a promotion for members to earn 2,000 bonus points for stays at new non-Americas properties.
Keep in mind that Radisson Rewards exists as two different programs. Members in the Americas (United States, Canada, Latin America, and the Caribbean) are part of the Radisson Rewards Americas program. Other travelers remain members of the Radisson Rewards program.
Earn 5,000 Bonus Radisson Points Per Stay Promotion (Americas Only)
This is a great and straightforward promotion. You'll need to register for the promotion before completing your first eligible stay. After registration, you'll earn 5,000 bonus points for every stay at any of the 600+ Radisson Hotels Americas properties across the United States, Canada, Latin America, and the Caribbean before June 30, 2023. Stays can be as short as a single night.
Terms and conditions
- This promotion is capped at 100,000 bonus points — which would be met with 20 stays.
- Register before completing your first stay. Existing reservations are eligible, so long as you register before completing your first stay.
- Any number of nights counts as a valid stay.
- This promotion is valid at Radisson Collection, Radisson Blu, Radisson, Radisson RED, Radisson Individuals, Park Plaza, Park Inn by Radisson, and Country Inn & Suites by Radisson hotels in the United States, Canada, Latin America, and the Caribbean.
- Bonus points should post to the member's account within 5 days of completing each stay.
- Award nights and points + cash nights are not eligible. Also, nights booked through an Online Travel Agency (OTA)/third-party booking websites such as Expedia or Booking.com are ineligible.
3,000 Bonus Points with the Radisson Rewards App (Americas and Worldwide)
Here's a simple promotion available to both Radisson Rewards Americas and Worldwide members.
- First, you'll need to download the app. If you're in the Americas, use these links to get the app from the App Store or Google Play. If you're worldwide, then use these links to get the app from the App Store or Google Play.
- Then, make a booking of two or more consecutive nights at any participating Radisson property in your respective region (Americas or worldwide).
- And you'll receive 3,000 bonus points.
Terms and conditions
- This promotion can only be claimed once.
- Award nights and points + cash nights are not eligible. Nights booked through an Online Travel Agent or third-party booking websites such as Expedia or Booking.com are ineligible.
- This promotion can be booked in conjunction with other promotions.
2,000 Bonus Points at New Hotels (Non-Americas)
Radisson Rewards members not part of the Americas program can earn 2,000 bonus points when staying two or more nights at new properties in Europe, Africa, Asia, and the South Pacific. Stays must be booked before June 30, 2023, and completed before June 30, 2024. Read our separate article about this new Radisson hotel promotion.
Don't forget that Radisson Rewards Worldwide massively devaluated its rewards last year. For now, you might be better off sticking with promotions targeted to members in the Americas.
2,000 Bonus Points + up to 25% Off (Non-Americas)
You can get up to 25% off stays in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia Pacific, plus Radisson Rewards members will earn 2,000 bonus points per stay. Eligible stays are July 1–September 10, 2023, but you must book by June 30 to be eligible. The full list of participating hotels is here.
Our Take
Choice Hotels is in the process of taking over Radisson Hotels Americas. We'll see what happens to your Radisson Rewards points when the program is taken over by Choice Privileges or if the Radisson Rewards Americas program will continue after that. Until then, you can still earn some good points through these promotions.
If you're only a member of the Radisson Rewards Americas program, you can join the Radisson Rewards program for other countries to take advantage of worldwide promotions. From there, it's an easy matter to transfer the points to your American account. Simply use the Global Points Transfer system to move points with a 1:1 ratio. Points will be transferred between your accounts within 24 hours.

I’m still pretty ticked off at Radisson/US Bank for ending the Radisson Rewards Credit Cards. Just a letter in the mail saying the partnership has ended and we’re now stuck with an apparently useless US Bank card that earns something called Go Points at a bad rate. I’m trying to decide if it is worth keeping open bc I’ve had a while and don’t want to hurt credit score but will really be ticked at paying any kind of fee to keep it. I’ve got about 450k in Radisson Rewards and when they’re gone, I don’t see me staying with them going forward.
Interesting. I wonder if it would ever become a permanent earning option.
Tempting… and most of the good properties are overseas. Decisions…
What happened to the AA (miles) bonus?
We have a post coming soon to explain what’s happened. But unfortunately, AA forced AwardWallet to stop tracking AAdvantage accounts. And unfortunately, that prevents us from continuing to award 5 AAdvantage miles for comments.
Very tempting but cant easily get to the best properties yet.
This is why Radisson is one of my favourite hotel brands
Too bad the promotions aren’t supposed to stack.
Radisson often has great offers, but they don’t have many properties in New England and I’m sticking close to home right now. If I knew I’d travel to Europe in 2022, I’d jump on this offer to use in Ireland.
These offers might be a lot more tempting if Radisson hadn’t split their program in two….most of Radisson’s best properties are overseas.
What’s everyone’s experience with Radisson now? I haven’t used them in over a decade to be honest.
This is a pretty good promotion. The only problem is I’m about 325 miles form the nearest property.
Remember the good ole days of the Club Carlson credit card BOGO bonus? Seems like a distant memory. Still some decent value in Scandinavia, particularly, but not a lot in the Americas program.
Free ngiht after two nights is awesome!
Too many promotions at the same time!
Maybe I will choose the 2-night stay promotion. It is the only one which works for me.
Wow…55x is a huge bonus! Gotta start planning for the spring!
For those that prefer airline miles, the United MileagePlus X app has been offering 25x on Radisson stays in the US only.
Thanks for the info! I’ll definitely take United miles then. Amazing promo!
United really “plugs” its app.
I hope some of these amazing promotions continue when the pandemic is under control. I think many employers will be slow to put their people back on the road. They’ve saved millions (maybe billions) from the travel reductions for the last year.
Radisson does not really have a lot of luxury hotels that are aspirational. They also have a small footprint so I agree that one should not go out of the way to book a stay with them.
Too bad most of thier properties, even the questionable ones go for 38,000 points or more per night.
Another offer which could be good but ask a quick reaction.
Personally during this pandemic situation with regular changes on the requirements for access countries it’s like doing a bet and hoping to win.
Haven’t stayed at a Raddison since the 90s. Not sure I ever will again haha and didn’t know they still existed!
This is one loyalty program that take into account the present circumstances. The airline loyalty programs pulled their partnership with other retailers. More power to them.
Radisson is really great when you get to travel in Europe again.
I just signed up for the promotion. I will also have to remember to use the app to book. The problem with that is that it is more difficult to get the extra points booking through a portal when you use the app. Not impossible, but more difficult.
i am just waiting on vaccine really to get injected in me so then i can take advantage of these deal
I certainly miss the days of the free night on award stays offered by their co-branded credit card, but it’s still a valuable program, especially for European travel.
What do you mean by “free night on award stays”?
Actually, stays CAN be changed thru Jan. 20! “• Any adjustments to Eligible Stays made after the Booking Period will be ineligible to earn the discount/rebate.”
I will not be taking advantage of this offer. The only time I stay at Radisson hotels traveling through Europe. I most likely will not travel to Europe this year.
Always hard to find a Radisson thats beat the orher major brands on quality and price.
Very good option that makes you think. I am aware of app promotions although I only use it for buying tickets. For instance, Omio search engine always have better options if you book through the app rather than doing it on the website.
Woow that good data, I didn´t know Radisson Rewards
In addition to the Promotion Bonus earned for Eligible Stays consumed during the Promotion Period, an Eligible Member will earn the standard 20 points issued per U.S. Dollar spent and their Tier bonus.
I tend not to use the app for Radisson bookings.
I should remember to use the app next time for the points.
Its interesting how often there are bonuses for using an app rather than the website. I was under the impression more web traffic for travel was done with apps but perhaps the ncentives are necessary to drive more traffic to them.
Quite a few people are sick of the “apps” because it is enough with overloading data on the smartphone devices.
All other things being equal, I’d take the larger screen of a computer to research and book travel, to juggle multiple tabs, every time.
Well, Radisson is jus like Nordic Choice. Whether it is useful or not depends on where you live.
Totally agree on that. We at AwardWallet have quite a diverse audience though, so we try to cover a variety of these promotions.
Radisson is great for European travel. I’ve had great stays in Riga, Warsaw, Stockholm, Bucharest and other continental cities. US has been more of a mixed bag. Heck, I even got bedbugs at a Queens property. Ugh!
Ugh indeed! Hopefully you didn’t end up bringing them back home! And yes, totally agreed that Radisson is a mixed bag.
Redeeming at the few cat 1 hotels basically gives a free night. Note you need to stay at cat 2 or higher to earn this promo, but there are some really cheap hotels.
I’ve gut feeling that we’ll see very lucrative promotions in the coming months – at the moment hotels are forced to fight for every customer
Too bad you need to stay 2 nights to get the 3k bonus
A good use of Radisson points is the newish Radisson Hotel New York Times Square, which is on 8th Avenue.
Is this also compatible with the 5K per night ?
Yes! You should be able to get 5,000 bonus points through the summer promotion (https://awardwallet.com/blog/current-radisson-promotion/) and the 3,000 bonus for booking a cash stay through the app.
Radisson’s program is underrated in my opinion. There are some very good deals to be found at some very good properties.
Not a bad deal!
This post comes at a very good time for me. I just found out that I am supposed to go to a meeting where the recommended hotel is a Radisson. I may as well optimize the points I will earn in this program. Thanks for the guidance.
Glad that it helped!
