Delta has announced their latest award flash sale to destinations in Canada this fall. There are some great deals to be had with roundtrips starting at 20,000 SkyMiles roundtrip. However, like most flash sales you will have to hurry since the sale ends Wednesday, June 14, 2017.
Terms and Conditions
The terms and conditions are simple like all of Delta's Flash sales:
- Bookings must be made by 23:59 ET Wednesday, June 14, 2017
- Travel period from September 5, to November 14, 2017
- Awards start at 20,000 SkyMiles roundtrip, plus taxes and fees
- Offer valid for flights departing from the contiguous 48 United States
- A portion of the flight can be completed on a Delta Connection Carrier
Which Destinations Are Included
There are some great destinations in Canada covered by the sale. Bookings can be made to the following destinations:
- Montreal (YUL)
- Toronto (YYZ)
- Victoria (YYJ)
- Ottawa (YOW)
- Winnipeg (YWG)
- Calgary (YYC)
If you make a booking, look to pay using your Citi Prestige® Card since even if you only pay for the taxes and fees, you will get free travel insurance for your trip.
Overall
The timing of the offer is great since you can head out to Canada before the winter season kicks in. in terms of value 20,000 miles roundtrip is great value especially with the current pricing Delta has for its award travel. So why not head to Canada and experience some stunning scenery this fall?

This is cool! I do wish this wasn’t only limited to miles, though. And having Delta clearly show the originating destinations would help too!
Canada in the summer doesn’t sound like a bad idea.

If you can really get a rt for 20k, that’s a steal. Worth coming up with any reason to travel. I would say fly into Montreal and catch the bus to Quebec.

This is great for me since I have family in Victoria.
For those who want to go to Vancouver, it might be worthwhile to go to Victoria and take the Ferry to Vancouver! The ferry ride is very scenic and only takes an hour and a half. The Victoria airport is quite close to the Ferries– you can visit both of those beautiful cities.

Great to know, thanks, and do keep posting these! With the constant devaluations to reward programs, sales like this are the best way to stretch your miles farthest. On both Delta and American now, these sale locations are the only ones I book…
I wish Vancouver was on the list as well. I can drive to Toronto, Ottawa or Montreal. Hopefully they add Vancouver next time around.
