Our Take

The timing of this promo is quite handy, primarily since the latter part of the travel dates covers Spring’s full bloom in South America. So if you like to get away for a late fall break then why not head down to South America?

  • If you are planning to enjoy mountains and amazing waterfalls in Brasil, you deffinly should change a little bit and take a plane to Basilia. Then, you need a car to drive for around 4 hours until Chapada dos Veadeiros. Spend 4 days there. Brasil is amazing. Enjoy

  • Nice sale!

  • Good call on the travel dates, regarding springtime in South America, I wouldn’t have thought of that off the bat. Bummer for me though we’ve already firmed up our plans for late-summer & fall of this year. Also a bummer that the promo doesn’t include biz.

  • Rio sounds great! I can’t believe how expensive south america is compared to asia, considering how much closer it is to North America.

  • Claire Wrigley says:

Time to start planning a trip for the fall it sounds like. I have done Europe several times with cheap flights over the last couple years, time to try heading south instead.

  • Some of these destinations would be great. Cartagena is on my must-see list. That being said, some of the other destinations are farther and usually overnight flights. I’ll hold out for Business class lie-flat For those.

  • deerseason says:

Yeah, that’s too little time to make such a big decision. Do they do these sales regularly?

  • I need my DL miles for other destinations that they have a monopoly, but this is good value.

  • great sale for those that can use it!

  • Good offer.
Several destinations and also the travel period is also large.

  • I would love to go to Santiago Chile, however 36 hours is not enough time to make my travel plans and I do not want to pay to have my miles reinstated if the dates do not work.

  • Many thanks. It’s a bucket list trip for me. Might make it happen.

  • Exciting! Thanks for sharing.
