Having previously had a fairly rough week in the headlines, Delta finally has some good news to announce with the unveiling of new Monthly SkyMiles Flash Sales, featuring “48 hours of major Award deals to new featured destinations each month.”

The first iteration of the flash sale is running through 11:59 pm EDT August 17, 2016, to destinations in the Caribbean and Mexico, with awards starting at a 35% discount — we think (Without the benefit of an award chart, it can be a touch difficult to discover the “regular” award price).

With only 48 hours to take advantage of the flash sale, now is the time to book a cheap holiday to the sunshine and sandy beaches of Puerto Vallarta, Saint Lucia, or Georgetown.
