  • The free gold card for owning 200 shares makes me stay when I am in Europe.

  • rob taylor says:

normallly I wouldn’t care about this promo but I’m traveling to norway and radisson is one of the few chains active there other than choice hotels

  • I normally prefer a fixed amount of bonus points rather than double points but they never offer them during high season. I’ve signed anyway.

  • I wonder is Radisson has focused in Europe rather than the US? Just like others, I found Radisson in Europe to be outstanding.
If I was staying more in Europe, I would definitely try to stay at their properties.

  • Seems nearly every quarter most of the chains have double points promos – some more restrictive than others. With Category creep you need it to keep same amount of value.

  • Radisson Blu Zurich Airport is great!

  • miskocina says:

Quite a nice bonus, but I’ve recently been using other hotel groups as their programme isn’t so attractive as it was in the past.

  • If you’re in Europe this is very good news – properties are generally excellent. But for North America there are better options.

  • Air Flyer says:

The Radisson brand does not have much of a presence on the west coast at least.

  • I’ve signed even though I don’t think I’ll stay at a hotel of this brand before August.

  • Bernard Say says:

This promo is not good enough for me to change my travel plans. I will pass on this.

  • This summer I’m focusing my efforts on participating in some Hilton and IHG promos. Going to have to pass on this one. “Can’t win’em all.”

  • Still not that attractive, as the redemption options in North America is not ideal.

  • They are very good in Britain – I like their London hotels and usually stays there. Unfortunately Radisson doesn’t have Japan hotels except Narita’s one. Maybe new owners will change it.

  • I’ll be going to Europe soon, so this is great!

  • Radisson is indeed great for central and northern Europe.

  • Agreed. Radisson could definitely improve its quality and presence in North America, but from personal they are strong in Europe, where we’ve enjoyed several stays at some pretty great properties.

Using the phrase “no brainer” when discussing the Radisson chain is redundant. They are racing to the bottom.
