Washington state residents who are Delta SkyMiles members will be happy to learn that the 12 status promotion is returning for its third year. Like last year, you will earn SkyMiles for every yard the Seattle Seahawks throws during the football season. This promotion is one of the easiest ways to earn Delta SkyMiles with minimal effort and time.

Key Terms

  • You must register for the 12 status promotion
  • The promotion runs for the duration of the Football season, from September 4, 2018, through Sunday, February 3, 2019, at 11:59 PM PT
  • Earn one mile for every passing yard at Seahawks home and away games
  • The promotion is only available to residents of Washington state

Similar to last year’s 12 status promotion, participants may also be eligible for Priority Boarding when flying Delta during the period of the promotion. If selected for Priority Boarding, you would board after Sky Priority but before Zone 1 boarding.

Unlike last year, there is no option to win a VIP pass for home games for the entire season, or win gift cards at the Seahawks Pro Shop, and there will be no VIP passes to the Seahawks vs. Atlanta Falcons home game.

Our Take

This promotion is a no-brainer for Delta SkyMiles members who live in Washington state. A few seconds to register and you are on your way. Delta has given away over 144 million SkyMiles to Seahawks fans over the last couple of years. Even though the promotion does not have as many perks as the previous ones, if you're eligible, it is worth registering to earn some easy SkyMiles.
