When I attended a Hilton media event in Nashville back in April, some of the most common questions writers asked circled around, “What's going on with the Small Luxury Hotels partnership?” Back then, we were told to wait. Now, there's an exciting development.
The first Small Luxury Hotels of the World properties have come online with Hilton, and bookings are live. We've got news about benefits you can expect on these stays and which properties are available now, but the bad news is that only three properties are available right now.
Let's jump in.
Hilton and Small Luxury Hotels Partnership — Background
To bring you up to speed with this Hilton Honors partnership, the longstanding partnership between Hyatt and Small Luxury Hotels (SLH) ended on May 15, 2024. Even before the end date, as soon as Hyatt announced the partnership would end, Hilton announced the start of its partnership with SLH. That came back in February.
However, back in April, at the press event in Nashville, we got some additional updates about the SLH rollout. Key highlights included:
- A goal for as many SLH properties as possible to participate in Hilton Honors.
- A goal for properties to be bookable through Hilton platforms by mid-summer 2024.
- Properties will be bookable with points, with similar pricing to Hilton's own hotels (capped at 150,000 points per night).
- Free Night Rewards can be redeemed on these stays.
- Standard elite benefits should apply to all stays for Hilton Honors members.
Hilton and Small Luxury Hotels — Properties Now Online
That brings us to today's exciting news. The dedicated brand page is now live, and you can book a hotel for check-in tonight if you so desire.
This excitement comes with a big caveat, though: Only three properties are bookable right now. A spokesperson for Hilton describes this as a “testing phase.” When will more properties come online? Hilton says there are “more to be added throughout the testing phase as Hilton and SLH prepare for the full partnership rollout.”

You can explore locations here, and that link will become more useful as additional properties are added. Presently, there are just three:
- Flemings Mayfair in London, near Hyde Park
- Teranka Formentera in the Balearic Islands
- Nobu Hotel Marbella in Marbella, Spain — roughly halfway between Málaga and Gibraltar
Pricing
At Flemings Mayfair, we checked a two-night stay in January 2025 and found rooms for roughly $428 or 80,000 points per night. That's a redemption rate of 0.535¢ per point — just shy of the 0.59¢ AwardWallet users typically get for their Hilton points.

At Teranka, dropping $1,617 for a night in April 2025 caught me by surprise. Redeeming 110,000 points per night here provides an incredible 1.47 cents per point. And the place looks fantastic.

At the Nobu Hotel Marbella, a mid-week stay in January 2025 shows a nightly price of roughly $377. Paying 78,000 points here provides a redemption of just 0.48 cents per point.

Why these three properties? The same spokesperson says that a few properties expressed their willingness to participate in the testing phase, and then the current three properties were selected from those wanting to jump in.
Hilton benefits on SLH stays
For those with Hilton Honors elite status, here are the perks you can expect on Small Luxury Hotels stays:
- Member: Guaranteed member discounts, free standard Wi-Fi, late checkout (when available), complimentary bottled water, and no resort fees on award stays
- Silver: All of the above benefits, plus 20% bonus points on paid stays and fifth night free on points redemptions
- Gold: All of the previous benefits, plus 80% bonus points on paid stays, complimentary breakfast (for two guests), and space-available upgrades
- Diamond: Hilton's top-tier elites get the above benefits plus 100% bonus points on paid stays, and space-available upgrades (including suites at some properties)
Plus, you'll be able to earn and redeem Hilton points as you normally would.

Bottom Line
It's exciting to see the Hilton–Small Luxury Hotels partnership moving forward. Starting today, the first three properties are available for bookings. Sadly, the list of available properties is short, and the locations provide little breadth on the map.
That said, the fact Hilton is providing standard benefits we've come to expect on these stays is nice, rather than the limited set of perks you could enjoy on SLH stays with World of Hyatt. We've been told that more is in the works in the near future, so it will be interesting to see how quickly Hilton expands the list of available properties and what's added next. That will give us a better picture of the value for using your Hilton points at SLH properties.
