Hyatt just announced a new Bonus Journeys promotion for Fall 2023 travel. You can register now to earn 3,000 bonus points for every three nights stayed between October 6 and November 30, 2023. Plus, Hyatt credit cardholders will earn 1,000 bonus points every three nights when staying in one of 556 eligible Hyatt hotels.

Hyatt Bonus Journeys Promotions
This round of Hyatt Bonus Journeys consists of two separate promotions that can overlap. Let's review each individually.
3,000 bonus points every three nights
This first promotion offers 3,000 bonus points for every three eligible nights stayed.
Terms and conditions:
- You must register between September 12 and November 10, 2023 at 11:59 p.m. CST to participate.
- Only eligible stays completed after registration and during the promotion period — October 6 to November 30, 2023 — will count for bonus point earnings.
- Eligible properties include participating Hyatt hotels and resorts worldwide, Small Luxury Hotels of the World (“SLH”) properties, and Lindblad Expeditions.
- Each member can earn a maximum of 21,000 bonus Hyatt points through this promotion.
1,000 bonus points every three nights for Hyatt cardholders
This second promotion offers Hyatt cardholders 1,000 bonus points for every three nights stayed in 550+ select Hyatt hotels in 13 countries, including the United States, India, China, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, France, Germany, and Spain.
The majority of the participating hotels are in Asia and Europe with only 106 properties participating in North America. Of the 106 properties in North America, 71 are in California, 34 in Illinois, and one in Indiana. See the full list here.
Terms and conditions:
- You must register between September 12 and November 30, 2023 at 11:59 p.m. CST to participate.
- After registration, Hyatt credit cardholders will earn 1,000 bonus points for every three nights spent at participating hotels in 13 countries.
- Only eligible stays completed after registration and during the promotion period — October 6 to November 30, 2023 — will count for bonus points earning.
- Both The World of Hyatt Credit Card and World of Hyatt Business Credit Card are eligible.
- There is no minimum stay required.
- Eligible cardholders can earn a maximum of 7,000 bonus Hyatt points through this promotion.
General rules for both promotions
- All points awarded under this promotion and bonus offer are bonus points. For this promotion and bonus offer, an “eligible night” is defined as any night where a member is paying an eligible rate or redeems a free night award for at least one night of their stay.
- For purposes of this promotion and bonus offer, consecutive nights at the same hotel constitute one stay (even if you check out and check back in).
- Only the room occupied by the member will count toward this promotion and bonus offer.
- You must provide your World of Hyatt membership number at the time of check-in for each stay.
- Please allow two to four weeks after checkout for bonus points to be posted to your World of Hyatt account.

When doing the math on your point earnings, don't forget to account for points you could earn from paying with your Hyatt co-branded credit card and points earned from whatever elite status you may have with World of Hyatt.

- 1X point per $1 everywhere else
Bottom Line
These Hyatt Bonus Journeys promotions offer a nice points-earning boost for travelers setting out this fall. Budget travelers will be happy that there's no minimum spending requirement to earn the 3,000 bonus points per three nights stayed. Unlike prior promotions, this one does not require a second stay to trigger the promotion.
Unfortunately, the cardholder bonus is limited to 13 countries and has a limited footprint in North America. Eligible Hyatt hotels in North America are only found in California, Illinois, and Indiana. You're out of luck if you aren't planning to visit one of these states during the promotion period. The good news is that the offers can stack together, providing 4,000 bonus points after three nights if you have a Hyatt credit card and stay at the eligible properties.

It’s a wondeful option
I will make use of the first part of the promotion, but don’t plan on traveling to any of the 10 cities so won’t make use of the second part.
