But, you only have to July 20, 2021 to post.

- A complimentary gift basket full of your favorite snacks delivered to their room every time you check into a new hotel.

How to Enter
To enter, create a post on either Twitter or Instagram ‘telling IHG why they need an epic vacation – without telling IHG they need an epic vacation’

The terms and conditions note that you can submit a maximum of 10 entries — 5 on Twitter and 5 on Instagram. You can't use the same post twice. Entries will be judged on originality (30%), quality (30%), and creativity (40%).
Sorry overseas readers. This contest is open only to legal residents of the United States (including the District of Columbia) who are at least 21 years old at the time of entry.
Entries close on July 20, 2021. The winner will be announced on August 2, 2021. If you win, you will have three days to claim the prize. You do not have to be an IHG Rewards Member to enter, but you will need to become a member in order to claim the prize.
Our Take
Personally, I prefer the sweepstakes with multiple winners. But if you do end up being the winner of this contest, claiming 15 million rewards points, gift baskets, free dining each month, and all the rest of the prizes would be pretty sweet.
Hopefully, you already have Instagram and Twitter accounts to post to, and you can get your creative juices flowing. I'm guessing there are very few of us who can't think of a reason why we need an epic vacation.

WOW!!! Nice to get the prize, but yes multiple winners at smaller amounts would be better. More chance of winning!!!
This is a bit disappointing coming from IHG. Not even going to touch on statistics and the odds of winning if the winner were to be randomly selected; but the odds here are even further skewed by the subjective nature of the judging categories combined with the fact that there is a big difference in the generational usage of social media. I prefer something like the recent promo from American, where everyone is on equal footing.
Almost no chance to win. So it is useless to participate.
I wonder what stories I can come up with? I hope someone from here wins (me!)

Are Canadian residents eligible for the IHG contest?

This is certainly a big win for one person. I just never seem to win these things especially when the subject matter is subjective. Congrats though to the person who is going to win this.

I’m confused. I didn’t recognize the name of this promo, but the description matches one I entered awhile ago. Are there more than one sweeps being run by IHG now? That seems unlikely.

With a contest like this, why bother? Seriously? one winner and it just depends on who is creative? according to who? pass…this kind of contest just really leaves a bad taste in my mouth with IHG….
