New member sign-up bonus
The best time to join any rewards program is when there’s a new member bonus. With Rove Miles, you’ll start with 1,000 miles when you sign up for a free account using a referral link. This offer is valid until 11:59 p.m. EST on September 17, 2025.
Rove Miles currently transfer to 12 different loyalty programs, including Air France-KLM Flying Blue, Finnair Plus, and Accor Live Limitless. If you don’t want to transfer your miles, you can also redeem them toward new flight and hotel bookings, cash back, gift cards, and more. Still, the best value will likely come from transferring them to partners and booking award travel.
Hotel booking bonuses
One of the easiest ways to rack up extra Rove Miles — on top of the rewards you earn with your credit card — is to book a hotel through the Rove portal. Through 11:59 p.m. EST on October 3, 2025, you can earn up to 5,000 bonus miles on your first hotel booking.
To get these bonus miles, you’ll need to enter one of the following promo codes. But keep in mind that you can use one or the other, but not both:
- STAYCATION: Earn 2,500 bonus miles on your first hotel booking of $250 or more
- BACKTOSCHOOL: Earn 5,000 bonus miles on your first hotel booking of $500 or more
Wondering where to enter the code? Once you’ve selected your hotel and room, you’ll see a box labeled “Promo Code” under the Payment Details section. That’s where you’ll apply it before checking out.
Increased earnings on online shopping through the portal
Savvy points and miles enthusiasts know that one of the easiest ways to earn rewards consistently is by shopping through a portal. That way, you earn bonus miles on things you were already planning to buy.
Right now, Rove Miles is offering boosted earnings at select retailers when you click through its shopping portal. Some examples include:
- 6X at Walgreens
- 5X on Target gift cards
- 5X on Ikea gift cards
- 5X at Staples
- 4X on Staples gift cards
