New Flying Blue Promo Rewards Award Pricing
Flying Blue devalued its “starting at” prices in January 2025. Now, all routes start at 25,000 Flying Blue miles in economy, 40,000 in premium economy, or 60,000 in business class. That means a 25% discount reduces award rates between North America and Europe as low as:
- 18,750 miles each way in economy.
- 30,000 miles each way in premium economy.
- 45,000 miles each way in business class.

Example Flying Blue Promo Rewards Awards
Throughout this month's booking window, availability is generally good for economy flights between North America and Europe. And while there are premium economy and business class options available, they're exclusive to Flying Blue Extra subscribers.
Here are some examples of the Flying Blue Promo Rewards you can book during December for travel through March of next year:
Economy between North America and Europe for 18,750 miles
Flying Blue's cheapest Promo Rewards from North America to Europe are a bargain. And there's plenty of availability, too, starting at 18,750 miles. For instance, here's what the Flying Blue award calendar shows as available between New York (JFK) and Paris (CDG) next February:

If you want to fly further, you can do that too. Flying Blue will allow you to add a connection within Europe (and as far as Turkey) for no extra mileage cost. For example, you could fly an itinerary like New York (JFK) to Warsaw (WAW), via Amsterdam (AMS) or Paris (CDG) for just 18,750 miles plus taxes and fees.

Premium economy between North America and Europe for 30,000 miles
If you’d rather not fly coach to Europe but don’t want to spend the extra miles for business class, premium economy awards are a good middle-of-the-road option. This month, you can fly from Miami (MIA) to Europe from just 30,000 Flying Blue miles.
However, if you go look for these awards right now, you likely won't find them. That's because Miami is an “Extra Exclusive” destination this month. For the unfamiliar, Flying Blue Extra is a new subscription program that offers a handful of benefits, including “Exclusive Promo Rewards” starting at 379 Euros annually (~$440).
Business class between North America and Europe for 45,000 miles
It’s not often that Flying Blue discounts business class — especially to the United States. So, when it does, it’s worth booking. At just 45,000 miles plus taxes and fees, flying lie flat from San Francisco (SFO) to Europe is an incredible deal.
But like Miami, San Francisco is also a destination exclusive to Flying Blue Extra this month. Thus, if you want to book business class from SFO to Europe this month for 45k miles, you'll need to subscribe first.

Our Take
Flying Blue Promo Rewards offer a great opportunity to stretch your points and miles. The list of destinations available in December is among the longest we've seen this year, and there's fantastic award availability throughout the entire travel window.
If this deal piques your interest, you can book discounted awards through March 31, 2026, as long as you make your reservation by December 31, 2025. Travel between North America and Europe is available most months for as low as 18,750 miles in economy or 45,000 miles in business class (if you're a Flying Blue Extra subscriber). And it can cost even less if you're able to take advantage of an ongoing transfer bonus.
Since Flying Blue is a transfer partner of all major transferable points programs, you can redeem for discounted awards no matter which points you collect. If there's no Promo Reward available from your airport, Flying Blue still offers several sweet spots outside of these monthly discounts.
