Earn 25X Rapid Rewards Points with Hawaii Donations
GiveBigHawaii is a charity celebrating the spirit of philanthropy across the Hawaiian islands. Since 2022, the organization has collected donations to support families living below the poverty line. Now, it has partnered with Southwest to reward Rapid Rewards members when making donations.
Through December 31, 2024, Southwest Rapid Rewards members can earn 25X points on donations of $25 up to $400 to GiveBigHawaii. You can donate more, but you can only earn a maximum of 10,000 Rapid Rewards points, which is achieved with a donation of $400.
Earn 10X Rapid Rewards with Points for a Purpose Donations
Additionally, through December 16, 2024, Rapid Rewards members will earn 10X Rapid Rewards points per $1 when donating to a Points for a Purpose charity through Southwest's dedicated page. Members can earn up to 10,000 points with this promotion — a cap you'll hit when making $1,000 in donations.
The Points for a Purpose campaign currently includes only three charities:
- Make-A-Wish — Creating life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses.
- Rescue America — Rescuing, reviving, and empowering the sexually exploited through a 24/7 hotline and emergency response.
- Team Rubicon — Serving global communities before, during, and after disasters and crises.
Furthermore, Southwest will match the rewards for the charity's account. In other words, the charity will receive the same number of points as the Rapid Rewards member for the donation.
Southwest Donations Key Terms
- Donate at least $25 to an eligible charity through Southwest's Points for a Purpose website or GiveBigHawaii to earn the following rewards:
- Earn 10 points per $1 when you donate to a Points with a Purpose charity through December 16, 2024.
- Earn 25 points per $1 when you donate to GiveBigHawaii through December 31, 2024.
- Make sure to list your Rapid Rewards number at the time of donation to ensure you get bonus points.
- Promotions are each capped at 10,000 points.
- Members will receive the bonus points within 45 days or 8 weeks after the donation.
- Bonus points from donations do not count toward A-List, A-List Preferred, or Companion Pass qualification.
