Another U.S. Bank Double Bonus Days promotion is coming on June 11, 12, and 13, so mark your calendar! On these dates, eligible cardholders can earn double points on all purchases made through the U.S. Bank Shopping Deals platform — earning up to 9X total rewards — in addition to other cash-back offers in the mobile app and online banking app.

Here are the details of this upcoming offer.

What is U.S. Bank Shopping Deals?

Similar to other shopping portals, U.S. Bank Shopping Deals has over 1,100 retailers. When cardholders click on a merchant, they are taken to the relevant website, and tracking cookies report what they've purchased in order to dole out rewards.

Instead of browsing to and clicking through the site, U.S. Bank cardholders can install the Shopping Deals Chrome browser extension. This extension notifies cardholders when rewards are available on a store's website while shopping online.

And just like other shopping portals, some merchants in Shopping Deals offer cash back instead of rewards points.

U.S. Bank Double Bonus Days Summer Promotion

U.S. Bank Double Bonus Days are returning from June 11 to June 13, 2025. Eligible cardholders can earn double rewards or double cash back on purchases made in the U.S. Bank Shopping Deals portal, the mobile app, or the online banking app.

During this promotion, rewards are doubled based on offers from individual merchants. For example, if a merchant offers 10% cashback, cardholders will receive 20% cashback during the Double Bonus Days. If you find an offer for 20% cashback, that would double to 40% for this promotion.

The amount of cashback you can earn is also doubled. For instance, if a merchant offers up to $20 cashback, you could earn up to $40 cashback with that merchant for Double Bonus Days. Only purchases that post to the card on these days are eligible.

And here's where this can get interesting: Using a card like the U.S. Bank Altitude® Connect Visa Signature® Card normally provides 5X earnings in the travel portal — but you could get 9X earnings during this promotion. This doubles the 4X bonus points during the offer but not the 1X point from daily spending earned on the card.

To participate in the U.S. Bank Double Bonus Days promotion, you must activate the offer in the U.S. Bank app or website before purchasing. Whether earning rewards points or cash back in Shopping Deals, the Travel Rewards Center, or with cash-back offers activated through the mobile or online banking apps, all rewards are doubled for the Summer Double Bonus Days between June 11 and June 13, 2025.

The press release announcing June's Double Bonus Days states that you must use your “U.S. Bank rewards credit card,” which includes the following:

Our Take

U.S. Bank Double Bonus Days is always an excellent promotion, and it's back for summer purchases on June 11, 12, and 13. This is the time to make purchases with your U.S. Bank card.

As the Double Bonus Days only last for three days, and double rewards are only valid on purchases that post during those three days, it might be tricky to get your rewards. To be sure to get your bonus earnings, it's a good idea to make your purchases on the first day, June 11, instead of waiting until the last day.

In previous versions of this promotion, some readers reported receiving the double rewards twice, effectively giving them triple rewards on their purchases. This is probably a glitch, but let us know if that happens to you.
