Wyndham is now the official Minor League Baseball hotel partner. As part of this partnership, Wyndham is offering members access to exclusive MiLB experiences. Wyndham Rewards members can use a good chunk of points for meet and greets, throwing the first pitch, or attending games. This promotion isn't for everyone, but some of our readers may be interested. Here are the details.
Wyndham Becomes Official MiLB Hotel Partner
At the end of March, Wyndham Hotels became the official hotel partner for Minor League Baseball. This partnership adds Wyndham branding through MiLB stadiums, guides, and other marketing. In addition, it gives access to MiLB logos for Wyndham franchisees. Members will be able to book a Wyndham hotel directly through the MiLB website.
The press release also mentions simplified travel to and from MiLB games, but it doesn't expand upon this. Maybe this mention of simplified travel refers to members staying at Wyndham properties near the games. We hope that clarification will come in the future.
MiLB Experiences for Wyndham Rewards Members
Due to part of this partnership, Wyndham Rewards members can redeem points for MiLB games and experiences.
- For 7,500 points, members can attend select Minor League games.
- Various MiLB experiences are available for 15,000, such as mascot meet and greets, or raising the flag.
- For 30,000, members can throw out the first ceremonial pitch, escort the official “ball pig” or lineup card, or make an official “play ball” announcement.
In the future, there could be more experiences offered as the partnership strengthens. At the time of this writing, there are 39 games and 14 experiences available.

Our Take
This promotion isn't for everyone. Recent valuation from members puts Wyndham points at 1.17¢ each. That means you're spending over $75 on games when tickets can be as little as $3 on other websites. Experiences cost around $150 or $300 worth of rewards points, but some experiences are priceless. There are certainly some members out there who would be very interested in snapping up these experiences.
Are you one of the members interested in using your Wyndham Rewards points for MiLB experiences?
