For a limited time, members of Flying Blue — the award program shared between Air France, KLM, and a few others — can multiply miles earned in the past 12 months by up to 20X and receive a special bonus. However, you'll need to act fast as this offer is only valid until October 14, 2025.
If you have earned any Flying Blue miles over the past year, this promotion is worth considering. Here's everything you need to know about this offer to multiply your Flying Blue miles, including the cost and restrictions to be aware of.

Flying Blue “Multiply Your Miles” Details
To see if you are eligible to take advantage of the promotion, head to the Flying Blue Manage My Miles page, select Accelerate Miles, and log in to your account. Then, you'll easily see how many miles you've earned over the last 12 months and your accelerator options.

In my case, I earned just 6,605 Flying Blue miles over the 12 months that are eligible for this promotion. I can choose to multiply my miles by 2X, 4X, 6X, 12X, or 20X. The higher the multiplication factor, the more bonus miles I'll earn.
How much does it cost to multiply Flying Blue miles?
Options to multiply Flying Blue miles include 2X, 4X, 6X, 12X, and 20X on my 6,605 miles earned last month. Multiplying at 2X would cost roughly 1.50¢ per mile, after factoring in the bonus. Multiplying at 20X would get the same price per mile — 1.50¢.

Previous offers to multiply recent Flying Blue earnings provided bonuses or discounts when choosing higher multipliers. Paying 1.50¢ per mile isn't terrible, but it's not terrific either.
Offers may vary, however, so it's worth checking your account to see what's available, how many miles you can multiply, and what price Flying Blue will charge you for it.

Is This a Good Deal?
We don't recommend buying miles speculatively, so let's start by saying “It's a good deal only if you have a plan for using these miles.” Second, it's a good deal if you can buy miles cheaply and redeem them at high values. You can find some good ideas in our list of Air France–KLM Flying Blue sweet spots.
In general, though, this is a decent deal. Flying Blue regularly offers members bonuses on buying miles. The most recent Flying Blue Buy miles offer saw prices as low as 1.68¢ apiece, which makes 1.50¢ look fantastic. However, you can subscribe to get Flying Blue miles for as little as 1.34¢ apiece, so this offer falls somewhere in the middle.
If you're a little bit short on miles for an upcoming award redemption, consider buying in small increments. It also could be a good option if you've exhausted other sources for Flying Blue miles and know you'll redeem them at a higher value than what you pay here.
This can be a good deal if you'd spend less money buying the miles for an award redemption than you'd pay for a ticket in cash. For instance, I can book a Flying Blue promo reward ticket from Raleigh (RDU) to Paris (CDG) in March 2026 for just 18,750 miles. I'd only need to pay $258.92 to multiply my miles to have enough for the redemption (and a few thousand leftover).

However, booking the ticket in cash would cost $598. Even after factoring in the $103.40 I'll pay in taxes and fees for an award redemption, I'm spending a total of $362.32 for a plane ticket that typically costs $598. Savings of $236 might not be anything to write home about, but every little bit helps.

Our Take
We've seen several airlines offering new and varied promotions in recent years, and the ability to multiply your Flying Blue miles with a bonus is just one such offer.
On the surface, it looks interesting. The concept seems compelling, but the math isn't great. There are other ways to get Flying Blue miles; some of those are cheaper. However, this promotion can make sense in certain situations. Make sure to do the math before you buy — especially if your offer is only for the lower tiers or high cost per mile.
