Southwest's “Week of Wow” promotion for
Here’s a quick rundown of the current offers and how to make the most of each one.
Save up to $500 on Getaways by Southwest Vacation Packages
Finally, you can save up to $250 on domestic vacation packages and up to $500 on 5-night international vacation packages with Getaways by Southwest. You'll also enjoy two free checked bags. These savings are based on two-person, five-night stays and will be automatically shown in the package price when booking.
Although this is advertised with Week of Wow promotions, the terms and conditions don't state an end date for booking or an eligible travel window. It only says a one-day advance purchase is required and that blackout dates may apply to hotel offers.
If you'd like to take advantage, we recommend booking sooner rather than later, as there's no guarantee this promotion will last longer than the others.
These Southwest promotions have booking windows that are closed but travel windows that are still open.
Earn 2X Rapid Rewards Points on Flights
The latest Week of Wow promotion offers double Rapid Rewards points when you register and book a qualifying flight on Southwest Airlines by September 21, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. CT. The eligible travel window is through December 16, 2026.
During the promotion window, you will receive 14 bonus points per $1 spent on Choice Extra fares, 10 bonus points per $1 spent on Choice Preferred fares, 6 bonus points per $1 spent on Choice fares, and 2 bonus points per $1 spent on Basic fares.
Save up to 15% on 3+ Day Enterprise Rentals
If you plan to rent a car while traveling this fall, you can save up to 15% on Enterprise bookings of three days or more through Southwest Cars. Book by September 21, 2026, and pick up your rental by December 15, 2026.
You'll get 10% off economy, compact, midsize, standard, and full-size vehicles, and 15% off other car classes. Many blackout dates apply, so check the terms and conditions before renting. The maximum rental window is 27 days.
Earn 3K Bonus Points on Southwest Hotels Bookings
Through 11:59 p.m. CT on September 21, 2026, Southwest is offering 3,000 bonus points on eligible hotel bookings. If you want to use your Rapid Rewards points on your booking, you can get a 3,000-point discount.
To earn these bonus points, you’ll need to book an eligible stay through the Southwest Hotels promo page and complete it by September 30, 2027. The catch is that this bonus is only available for hotels marked with a bonus badge.
The promotion doesn’t apply to stays that are partially or fully canceled, so you’ll need to complete the booking as planned to earn the 3,000 points. Southwest also doesn’t clarify whether you can use this offer more than once, so results may vary if you book multiple qualifying stays.
Save up to 40% on Base Southwest Fares
The first Week of Wow promotion offers up to 40% savings on base Southwest fares. Book by 11:59 p.m. PT on September 17, 2026, for travel between October 5, 2026, and March 3, 2027. Each destination has its own list of eligible days of the week, so be sure to read the terms and conditions before you book.
Blackout dates for travel within the continental U.S. include:

- November 20-25, November 28-30
- December 18-January 4
- February 12 and February 15

Help! Yesterday (October 5), I found several hotels in Nashville giving 5,000 Rapid Rewards bonus points. And today, none! Just the regular points. Yesterday, about 25% of the Nashville hotels in my search had written below the hotel name, “5000 bonus points”, and what today says “Earn xxxx points per stay” was 5000 points greater yesterday. I am searching for the same three nights, 12/13/25 to the morning of 1/3/24.
I can’t find out how to contact Rocket Travel by Agoda.
If you see this message after October 6, never mind.
Will the points earn on the hotel stay count towards earning a Companion Pass?
Yes! Southwest lists specific activities that don’t qualify, and hotel bookings isn’t on the list:
Is this on top of what the card already earns?
Just read the fine print and it’s 6x no matter what your current card is offering. It is not “on top of” what you are getting.
That’s right. This boosts your earning to 6X from whatever your card’s typical earning rate is.
From the T&C: “During the Promotional Period you will qualify and earn a total of six points for each $1 spent with any Rapid Rewards® Credit Card, on up to $500.00 in total purchases, made directly with Southwest Airlines®, including flight, inflight, Southwest® gift card, Rapid Rewards Points Center, and on Southwest Vacations® packages (“Qualifying Purchases”). That’s four bonus points on top of the two points already earned on Qualifying Purchases made with the Rapid Rewards Plus or Employee Credit Cards. That’s three bonus points on top of the three points already earned on Qualifying Purchases made with a Rapid Rewards Priority or Premier Credit Card. That’s two bonus points on top of the four points already earned on Qualifying Purchases made with a Rapid Rewards Performance Business Credit Card. That’s five bonus points made with any remaining Rapid Rewards Credit Cards.”
