Wyndham Rewards is running two offers that stack and allow you to rack up 17,500 points. The first offers you a one-off bonus of 10,000 points for a one-night stay, while the second yields 7,500 points for one night. The promos stack to give a total of 17,500 points for one night, which is enough points for a free night in any Wyndham property worldwide. The tactic: stay cheap and redeem expensive.
10,000 Point Promo
The first promotion is as simple as it gets. Although some Wyndham members have received it via email, many have not. When checking your Wyndham account online, you could find a link for the offer. So even if you did not receive an email it is worth checking your Wyndham account.
- You need to register for the Promo by September 30, 2017
- Complete a stay by October 9, 2017 to earn 10,000 bonus points
7,500 Points for Paying with Masterpass
The second Wyndham offer is in conjunction with Masterpass and is also relatively straightforward.
- Promo is valid through October 31, 2017
- Pay with Masterpass for a qualifying stay and receive 7,500 bonus points
- You can use the offer twice, earning a total of 15,000 bonus points
15,000 points is enough for a free night in any Wyndham property worldwide, since they charge a flat rate of 15,000 points per night regardless of class of property.
Stacking and Mattress Running
These two offers will stack very nicely and all you need to do is register for the 10,000-point promo, and then complete a stay by October 9, 2017 and pay with Masterpass for your stay. Doing that you will earn 17,500 points.
The only potential problem is the cost of the stay, however regardless of where you live, you should be able to find a Wyndham booking in the $55 to $80 range for one night. Below are a few examples from across the US:
17,500 points for $50-$80 is an incredible value from Wyndham Rewards. Whether you opt to use your second bite of the Masterpass promo to earn a further 7,500 is up to you and how many Wyndham points you need. Remember there is an increased signup bonus for the Wyndham Rewards Visa Signature Card, where you can earn 45,000 bonus points after spending $2,000 in the first 90 days of opening your account. As good as Wyndham redemption rates are, you can also redeem your points for Experiential Rewards which Wyndham introduced in July 2017.
