American Express has announced a promotion offering a 25% bonus on Membership Rewards transfers to JetBlue. The last time Amex ran a transfer bonus to JetBlue was in May when it also ran a 25% transfer promo. With this promo, you will receive 250 TrueBlue points per 250 Membership Rewards points instead of the standard 200 TrueBlue points.
- Promo is valid through 23:59 MT November 30, 2017
- Receive 250 TrueBlue points for each 250 Membership Rewards points transferred
- Minimum transfer is 250 Membership Rewards points
- There is a transfer fee of $0.0006 per points transferred, up to a maximum of $99 per transfer (we don't understand why Amex does this — they're the only program that charges this fee)
* Special Offer Terms & Conditions
Terms and Conditions for the Membership Rewards® program apply. Visit membershiprewards.com/terms for more information. Participating partners and available rewards are subject to change without notice.
The value of Membership Rewards points varies according to how you choose to use them. To learn more, go to www.membershiprewards.com/pointsinfo.
You must be enrolled in TrueBlue in order to participate in this offer, visit www.jetblue.com/trueblue to enroll. American Express is not responsible for availability of flight, accommodations or any other rewards in the merchant program. Once you have transferred Membership Rewards® points, they become subject to the Terms and Conditions of the merchant program and cannot be transferred back to your Membership Rewards program account. Taxes, fees, charges and surcharges, including airline surcharges, apply on JetBlue redemption flights and upgrades. See TrueBlue Terms and Conditions for details. Individual air carrier restrictions may apply.
Minimum transfer is 250 Membership Rewards points. Redeem for this exclusive offer from 12:00 a.m. MT on November 1, 2017 to 11:59 p.m. MT on November 30, 2017, to receive 25% additional TrueBlue points. TrueBlue points will be awarded at the time of transfer. For each conversion of points into the Frequent Flyer program of a U.S. airline, a fee of $0.0006 per point, with a maximum fee of $99, will be charged to your Card account. We charge this fee to offset the federal excise tax we must pay on such conversions. The fee may be more or less than the actual amount of the excise tax we pay on any individual conversion. We may offer you the option to redeem points to cover this fee.
JetBlue has a great loyalty program, which offers amongst other things quite a few ways to pick up TrueBlue points. While transferring credit card points speculatively is not recommended, a transfer bonus can be good news especially if you are a few miles short of a redemption, or know you will be. Then you can move over some points earned from The Platinum Card® from American Express, or The Business Platinum Card® from American Express to hit the threshold for that redemption.
