IHG has launched its latest award promo, with 50% off award bookings at selected properties in Latin America, Mexico, and the Caribbean. The promo is valid for stays through June 30, 2018. If you want to take advantage of the promo you will have to hurry though since bookings must be complete by May 7, 2018, and the best options will get snapped up quickly.
- Bookings must be made by May 7, 2018
- The promo is valid for stays through June 30, 2018
- The rates displayed already have the discount applied
- Fees may apply for an extra bed
- Black-out dates may apply
Not all IHG properties in the region are participating in the promo. The full list of participating hotels offers some great options, including high-end Intercontinental properties in Cancun and Cozumel.
Is It Worth It?
Absolutely! This promo can provide some excellent value. For instance, you can pick a week at the Intercontinental Presidente Cancun Resort for 17,500 points per night.
Cozumel also has an excellent choice with nights in June at the Intercontinental Presidente Cozumel Resort Spa going for as little as 25,000 points.
Remember you can get even more value from the promotion if you hold the IHG® Rewards Club Premier Credit Card, and leverage your 4th night free on award bookings. Using the benefit, 4 nights in Cancun would set you back 52,500 points, and 4 nights in Cozumel would set you back 75,000 points which is stunning value.
If you are in the market for an early vacation, then this promotion is the perfect opportunity—whether you can leverage the 4th-night free benefit from the IHG Rewards Premier Card or not.
