The Venetian Resort Las Vegas announced the launch of its new Venetian Rewards loyalty program in a press release. The new program is set to replace the current Grazie Rewards program in March 2024.
As with many of these preliminary announcements, there is a lot of hype. The President and Chief Executive Officer of The Venetian Resort Las Vegas, Patrick Nichols, stated:
“Venetian Rewards marks yet another milestone in the ongoing evolution of The Venetian Resort. This all-new program continues to provide the best access for our gaming customers and enhances earnings on experiences including gaming, dining, entertainment, our world-class spa, and more, for all of our guests…We created a program that offers benefits that will change the way our guests experience The Venetian Resort and Las Vegas.”
Whether this is truly the case or not, only time will tell. In the meantime, here is what we know and what we don’t know about the new program.
Venetian Rewards: What We Know So Far
The details about what precisely the new program will look like are thin on the ground. However, we know a few things about the new Venetian Rewards Program.
The program is going live in March 2024, although the exact date has not been confirmed. At that point, current Grazie Rewards members will automatically have their points balances and status transitioned into the new program.

The new program will have four tiers: Jade, Sapphire, Ruby, and Diamond. Members will earn Tier points to transition between statues. Tier points are earned for a wide range of expenses during your stay, including dining, retail, spa, casino spending, and much more.
Starting from the Ruby and Dimond tiers, members can receive a host of benefits, including:
- Suite upgrades.
- Priority access to resort amenities.
- Complimentary valet.
- A choice of airfare, golf, or Canyon Ranch spa + fitness credit.
- Sharable complimentary suite nights.
Members will now have improved earning options, with reward points earned at the following rates:
- Hotel, dining, entertainment, retail, and spa: Earn two (2) Reward Points per dollar spent.
- Reel slots: Earn one (1) Reward Point for every $4 wagered.
- Video poker: Earn one (1) Reward Point for every $10 wagered.
- Specific table games: Earn one (2) Reward Points based on average bet and duration of play.
Venetian Rewards: What We Don’t Know Yet
Considering this is the preliminary press release and announcement, it is no surprise that many questions remain unanswered. Hopefully, these will be answered before the new program goes live. Things we have yet to find out include:
- How will the status crossover work? The current Grazie Rewards program also has four tiers. Will the crossover be direct tier to tier, or will it depend on your existing tier point balances?
- What's the transfer ratio for points crossover from the current program to the new Venetian Rewards program?
- What are the benefits of each status tier? While the press release promises better perks and benefits as you progress, the question remains of what the specific benefits are.
- How many tier points must you earn to move between tiers? Will it be more difficult than the current system or easier?
- What's the definition of “specific table games”?
- How will redemptions work with the program? Currently, the value of your points is determined by your status as follows:
- Members can redeem their points for 1¢ per point.
- Premier members can redeem their points for 5¢ per point.
- Elite members can redeem their points for 2¢ per point.
- Gold members can redeem their points for 5¢ per point.
Our Take
Any time a brand revamps and relaunches its loyalty program, you have to be suspicious. More often than not, the change will be packed with devaluations. Will this be the case with the new Venetian Rewards program? Only time will tell as we find out more details about the program.
