Delta Sky Clubs are a welcome respite from the hustle and bustle of the airport. But as of early 2025, access to these oases has been throttled back due to new rules from American Express and Delta. Here’s how to track your Sky Club visits so you’re not left searching for a seat at the gate instead of enjoying a drink in the lounge.

Cards That Offer Limited Access to Delta Sky Clubs
Four premium credit cards that previously offered unlimited Sky Club access were impacted by lounge access cuts earlier this year. You didn’t have to think about how often you used this benefit before, but as of February 1, 2025, your opportunities to visit a Delta Sky Club are now limited.
Here's a quick look at each card’s access policy:
- If you have the Delta SkyMiles® Reserve American Express Card or the Delta SkyMiles® Reserve Business American Express Card, your lounge visits are capped at 15 per year.
- If you instead hold The Platinum Card® from American Express or The Business Platinum Card® from American Express, you’ll receive just 10 visits each year if you're flying on a same-day Delta ticket.

(Terms apply)
- Earn 5X points for flights booked directly with airlines or with American Express Travel (up to $500,000 in purchases per calendar year).
- Earn 5X points on prepaid hotels booked with American Express Travel.

(Terms apply)
- 3X miles per dollar spent on purchases made directly with Delta
- 1X miles on every eligible dollar spent on purchases.

- 3X miles per dollar spent on purchases made directly with Delta
- 1.5X miles per dollar on eligible transit, U.S. shipping, and U.S. office supply store purchases, plus all eligible purchases after spending $150K per calendar year
- 1 mile on every dollar spent on all other eligible purchases.
Keep in mind: a visit isn’t counted as each individual entry. You’re granted access to multiple Sky Clubs within a 24-hour period, which is helpful for itineraries with multiple segments since two stops in the lounge count as just one visit.

If you hold more than one of these credit cards, you'll be pleased to know that each card’s visits are cumulative. That means if you — like me — have both an Amex Platinum and a Delta Reserve, you’ll get 25 visits per year.
Additionally, if you're both a frequent traveler and a heavy spender, you can unlock unlimited visits by spending $75,000 on any of the cards above in a calendar year.
It’s also important to note that regardless of how many visits you have left on your Amex, or even if you’ve earned unlimited visits through spending, you still need to meet all other entry criteria to access Delta Sky Club locations. Learn more in our ultimate guide to Delta Sky Club access.
How to Track Your Delta Sky Club Visits
Luckily, you won’t need to carry around a punch card to keep track of your Delta Sky Club visits. There are two convenient ways to track your visits: on the Amex website and in the Amex mobile app.
On the Amex website
To check your Delta Sky Club visits for your Delta co-branded cards, go to americanexpress.com and log in. Once you're in, head to Rewards & Benefits, then click Benefits again.

Scroll down until you see Delta Sky Club Access and click to view your remaining visits for the year.

If you have an Amex Platinum card, the screens look slightly different, but the steps are essentially the same.
In the Amex App
Alternatively, you can check your remaining visits on the go using the Amex app by logging in and heading to the Membership tab. Once there, tap View All on the Benefits scroller.

Scroll through your listed benefits until you see the Delta Sky Club Access tile, then tap on it.

You’ll see a counter showing how many visits you have left for the year.

When Does the Sky Club Visit Count Reset?
It’s worth noting that for all four of these credit cards, the count of yearly visits resets on the anniversary of when the caps went into effect. That means every year on February 1, your counter resets to zero. From there, you’ll have either 10 or 15 visits to use through the following January 31.

Bottom Line
Now that Delta has limited your yearly visits to the Sky Club, it’s important to know how to track them. That way, you can use your limited visits more strategically, whether that means saving them for longer layovers or using them at specific times of the day to get meals at the lounge.
If you hold more than one card that enables you to visit a Delta Sky Club, knowing how many you have left will let you know when you switch it up and start using the next card, or whether to visit a different airport lounge altogether if you don't have a second card.
