If you needed an excuse to book a cruise, MSC Cruises’ new Voyagers Days promotion is a good one. With this offer, Voyagers Club members who book an eligible cruise before March 18, 2026, can earn 700 points toward elite status.

For those keeping score, that’s enough points to upgrade your account from no status to Classic. And even if you’re already a status holder, this offer can help you level up to more exclusive tiers.

But what's really neat about this promotion is that you’ll earn these points before your cruise even departs. Here’s how to participate.

Voyagers Days Promotion: Earn Status-Qualifying Points Before Departure

This MSC Cruises Voyagers Days promotion is super simple: Voyagers Club members who book a cruise of at least three nights by March 18, 2026, will receive 700 status-qualifying points before departure.

The offer is valid for sailings through October 31, 2026, excluding World Cruise and New Year’s Eve departures. It applies to all stateroom and suite categories and can be combined with other MSC promotions, though it’s limited to sailings in the following regions:

  • Mediterranean
  • Caribbean
  • Northern Europe
  • Alaska

Registration isn't required, but you’ll need to be an MSC Voyagers Club member and book through MSC channels to qualify. If you have any status plans with MSC, this is an easy one to take advantage of.

If you don’t currently have MSC status, this one-time 700-point bonus (awarded before departure) is enough to boost your account from Welcome Membership to Classic Membership. Classic status comes with pre-cruise and embarkation privileges, onboard discounts, and invitations to special members-only events.

Or, if you already have status, these 700 points can help you progress further towards the next tier. For reference, here are the MSC Voyagers Club status thresholds:

  • Classic Membership: 1 to 2,199 points
  • Silver Membership: 2,200 to 4,299 points
  • Gold Membership: 4,300 to 9,999 points
  • Diamond Membership: 10,000 to 24,999 points
  • Blue Diamond Membership: 25,000 or more points

How to maximize this MSC promotion

From what we’re seeing, the cheapest promotion-eligible cruises start at around $157 per person, including taxes and fees. While it might be nice to enjoy some perks on a low-cost sailing, it’s probably not worth booking solely for the bonus status-qualifying points.

But if you’re already in the process of booking a cruise with MSC, this promotion makes a lot more sense. Just be sure to book by the deadline to score your 700 bonus status-qualifying points.

Bottom Line

There’s a new MSC Cruises Voyagers Club promotion out now, and if you don’t have status with MSC, it can upgrade you from no status to Classic status before you even set sail. Or, if you're already a status holder, you can use it to add to your status-qualifying points balance.

If this offer speaks to you, just remember to book your voyage by March 18, 2026, and complete it by October 31, 2026.
