If you didn't know, Accor has a long list of airline transfer partners. And every so often, the Accor Live Limitless program launches conversion bonuses that let you earn bonus ALL Reward points when converting airline miles into hotel points, or vice versa. Through July 31, 2026, you can get a 20% bonus on transfers between Japan Airlines Mileage Bank and Accor.
Here’s everything you need to know about this limited-time offer and how to take advantage of it.
Current Accor Airline Transfer Bonuses
Through July 31, 2026, Accor Live Limitless is offering a 20% bonus on transfers between Accor and Japan Airlines Mileage Bank.

This transfer bonus works both ways.
Normally, you can convert 5,000 JAL miles to 1,000 Accor points or 10,000 JAL miles to 4,000 Accor points. During this promotion, you can receive 1,200 Accor points when you transfer 5,000 miles or 4,800 Accor points when you transfer 10,000 miles.
Meanwhile, 4,000 Accor points typically transfer to 2,000 JAL miles. Through July 31, you can receive 2,400 JAL miles for every 4,000 points you transfer.

Is It Worth Converting Airline Miles to Accor Points?
Generally speaking, converting airline miles into hotel points isn't a great deal, as the value is usually pretty poor. Even with a 20% transfer bonus, you'll still give up major value thanks to subpar transfer ratios. This is especially true when talking about Japan Airlines miles, which can be incredibly valuable. I personally value JAL miles around 2 cents apiece.
Consider that Accor points have a fixed value of €20 per 1,000 points, or roughly 2.29 cents apiece. If you transferred 10,000 JAL miles, which are worth roughly $200 at a 2¢-per-mile valuation, you'd receive 4,800 Accor points, which are worth roughly $109.92. That's not a great tradeoff. Even transferring in the opposite direction yields poor value: 4,000 Accor points, worth roughly $91.60, could be converted to 2,400 JAL miles, worth roughly $48.
In other words, this transfer bonus is most useful for rescuing hard-to-use points or miles that are about to expire.

Our Take
Not every transfer bonus is a slam dunk. We'd file this Accor transfer bonus under the category of “nice to know about, but probably not valuable enough to go out of your way for.” That said, if you've got points or miles sitting in your Japan Airlines or Accor account and are struggling to find a good use for them, this could be a solid way to salvage some value.
No matter what, if you plan to take advantage of this offer, make sure to initiate your transfer by July 31, 2026.
