For a limited time, you can transfer more points between Wyndham Rewards and Caesars Rewards than the typical annual limit. There have been some major changes to the Wyndham-Caesars partnership throughout 2025, including a reduction of the annual transfer limit. So, this limited-time offer is worth looking into if you want to move points between programs.
Here's what you need to know, and how to determine if you should make the transfer.

Wyndham and Caesars Temporarily Increase Transfer Limit
Wyndham Rewards and Caesars Rewards have increased the cap on the number of points you can transfer between programs through December 31, 2025. You can transfer up to 60,000 Wyndham Rewards points to Caesars Rewards, or 60,000 Caesars Rewards to Wyndham Rewards. This is double the usual limit of 30,000 points.

Keep in mind that any transfers you've made throughout the year count towards this promotion. If you transferred 20,000 points earlier in the year, now you can transfer up to 40,000 additional points. Transfers must be made in increments of 10,000 points, and all transfers happen at a 1:1 ratio, whether you are transferring Wyndham Rewards points to Caesars or Caesars points to Wyndham Rewards.
Should You Transfer Points Between Wyndham and Caesars?
Arguably, it is better to transfer Caesars Rewards points to Wyndham Rewards points than the other way around.
Caesars points are worth a flat 1¢ per point regardless of whether you use them towards room rates, dining, or credits. However, AwardWallet users typically redeem Wyndham Rewards points for an average value of 1.35¢ per point. Therefore, you can expect to get more value out of Wyndham points than Caesars points.

Plus, you can often redeem your Wyndham Rewards points for a value far above 1.35¢. This is especially true if you are using the flat awards redemption rate at some of Wyndham's more premium properties.
With that said, if you earn tons of Wyndham points and have trouble finding a way to use them for good value, then transferring them to Caesars' points can be a fun option. And now that the partnership between Wyndham and Vacasa is ending, you might be looking for a way to get rid of your points. If you only earned Wyndham points to take advantage of this partnership, you can transfer a chunk of them to Caesars for greater flexibility.
Transfers Can Keep Your Wyndham Points Alive
Wyndham Rewards points expire if you have 18 consecutive months of inactivity on your account. Fortunately, you can use transfers to Caesars to keep a substantial balance of Wyndham points alive.
If you are caught in a bind and your Wyndham points are about to expire, you can transfer them to Caesars. Then, you hold the points for a short time before moving them back to Wyndham Rewards. Once moved back, they appear as “new” points with an 18-month validity deadline.
While this is one way of gaming the system, it is an open secret that has been going on for a long time. However, if you have a lot of points, this would only work for some of them. Although you can transfer up to 60,000 points through the end of the year, the normal cap is just 30,000 points. You shouldn't rely on this as the only option for keeping your Wyndham points alive.

On the other hand, Caesars Rewards Credits expire after just six months of inactivity. Don't transfer your balance to Caesars only to have it expire just a few months later.

Our Take
Increasing the points transfer cap from 30,000 to 60,000 points for a limited time is great news for fans of either program.
If you are a Wyndham regular with a healthy points balance, you can flip over more of your points to Caesars. This can be done regardless of whether you are a regular at Caesars or just planning a one-off large family vacation. You can now leverage your Wyndham points for even more value.
On the other hand, if you generate a lot of Caesars points, the usefulness of those points has increased. Transferring 60,000 points is enough for up to eight free nights at Wyndham properties worldwide.
