In total, the collection includes more than 1,550 lounges across 140 countries.

Let’s take a look at each type.

Centurion Lounges

The most recognizable part of the Amex lounge portfolio is the Centurion Lounge network, known for its elevated design, high-quality food and drinks, and comfortable spaces to relax or get work done before a flight.

Access is available up to three hours before departure or during a connection. Through July 7, 2026, there’s no time limit for connections; starting July 8, 2026, access during a layover will be limited to five hours before your departing flight. Entry isn’t permitted once you’ve reached your final destination.

In addition to the cards mentioned above, you can also access Centurion Lounges when flying Delta on a same-day ticket if you hold the Delta SkyMiles® Reserve American Express Card or Delta SkyMiles® Reserve Business American Express Card and purchase your ticket with the card. Escape Lounges

There are more than two dozen Escape Lounges worldwide that are part of the American Express Global Lounge Collection, with locations across the U.S., U.K., and Australia. These lounges focus on fresh, chef-curated food and high-quality drinks.

Next up in the Global Lounge Collection are Priority Pass lounges — a network of more than 1,800 lounges worldwide. To access them, you’ll first need to enroll in Priority Pass Select, which you can do through the benefits section of your online Amex account or by calling the number on the back of your card.

Once enrolled, simply show your Priority Pass membership card and a same-day boarding pass to enter eligible lounges. Most locations also accept digital membership cards through the Priority Pass app. You can typically bring up to two complimentary guests, subject to space availability.

It’s worth noting that while Priority Pass also includes restaurants, sleep pods, and spa experiences, Amex Card Members no longer receive access to these options.
