Since its launch in November 2021, the Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card has established itself as one of the best premium credit cards in the industry. Adding to the card's great perks is the luxury accommodations collection for cardholders called the Premier Collection, launched in January 2023.
When the Capital One Venture X Business went live in 2023, it provided another path to accessing Premier Collection bookings.
So, what is the Premier Collection? And what benefits do bookings through this platform offer? Here are details of this hotel platform and benefits included.

What Is the Capital One Premier Collection?
The Capital One Premier Collection is a collection of luxury properties located around the world. By booking through the Premier Collection, Capital One Venture X cardholders can enjoy a list of benefits at these properties.
This collection is similar to the Amex Fine Hotels + Resorts® program available to cardmembers of The Platinum Card® from American Express or the Luxury Hotel & Resort Collection available to select Chase cardholders.

The properties in the Premier Collection come from luxury brands and collections such as Six Senses, 1 Hotels, Viceroy, Proper Hotels, and Small Luxury Hotels of the World, as well as boutique, independent hotels. As of February 2024, Avantstay and Boutiq provide vacation rentals through the Premier Collection portal.
Who Can Access the Capital One Premier Collection?
The Premier Collection is exclusively available to those with the Capital One Venture X or Venture X Business. These cardholders actually have access to two hotel collections from Capital One, with the other being the Lifestyle Collection. Additional cardholders have access to this program.

Capital One Premier Collection Benefits
The benefits for bookings through the Premier Collection include:
- Earn 10X miles on paid bookings.
- Ability to redeem miles at 1¢ apiece toward bookings.
- Receive a $100 experience credit.
- Enjoy complimentary breakfast for two each day of your stay.
- Complimentary Wi-Fi.
- Complimentary room upgrades (when available).
- Early check-in and late checkout (when available).
As bookings are made through the Capital One Travel portal, Capital One Venture X and Venture X Business cardholders can use their $300 annual travel credit on Premier Collection bookings.
Premier Collection $100 experience credit
The $100 experience is available for dining, the spa, or other activities at the hotel. The Premier Collection is unique in that every property allows you to use the credit for food and beverage purchases. That sets it apart from hotel collections like Amex Fine Hotels + Resorts — which lets properties limit the credit to spa bookings or specific activities.
To use the experience credit, simply charge the items to your room. The credit will apply to your bill when checking out.
Finding and Booking a Premier Collection Property
To get inspiration, check out Capital One's Premier Collection page here. Properties are divided into two categories: Hotels & Resorts and Vacation Rentals. To make things easy, Hotels and Resorts have several featured categories, including:

- Outdoor & Adventure
- City
- Spa & Relaxation
- Arts & Culture
As of February 2024, vacation rentals are also available in the Premier Collection, managed by Avantstay and Boutiq, and future properties are coming from Inspirato and Key.co. Similar to Airbnb and Vrbo, these rentals offer exclusive properties — but only the best of the best. So far, only about 100 rentals in 30+ locations are in the Premium Collection.

Once you're ready to search and book a Premier Collection stay, log into your Capital One account, head to this page, and begin your search. Alternatively, you can simply do a standard hotel search on Capital One Travel and then select Premier Collection properties in the filter.
As Premier Collection properties are booked through Capital One Travel, Capital One Venture X and Venture X Business cardholders will earn 10X miles per dollar spent on hotels and resorts and 5X miles per dollar on vacation rentals. That's in addition to the $100 property credit and all other benefits of booking a Premier Collection property.
Alternatively, you can pay for your bookings with miles. They'll be worth 1¢ apiece toward these reservations, but we don't recommend redeeming your Capital One miles this way.

The Capital One Premier Collection is yet another great benefit for an already strong duo of premier credit cards. The list of hotels in the collection represents some of the best small luxury hotels and boutique properties worldwide — some of which are exclusive to the Premier Collection.
If the price is comparable to other booking options, booking through the Premier Collection can make sense, thanks to the value-added perks baked into your reservation. When the price isn't the same, you'll need to do some math to see if booking here is worth it.
